Your going to love it! I suprised dh with this as an anniversary gift last year and we just loved it. This year we are going to be there for our fifth and my bil and sil 10th in Aug. they had an amazing $ 50 pff per person for the 11:45 tours so I booked it as a big suprise for everyone.I know it will be hot but I don't care... It was that awesome!

Curious as to how you find out about the $50 off? That seems like quite a discount! Congrats!
It is for certain tours during the summer (11:45am and after). They did the discount I assume because most people want to make most of the park admission and do the tour in the morning, and also it is hot the summer and morning is coolest, that's why last year we did the first tour. For a grand savings of $200 though I couldn't resist! I have a report from our last trek if anyone wants to see it let me know.
I did a write up in our TR from last year too. You can find it here if interested.
SPOILER ALERT - I go through every aspect of the trek in here. The Good, The Bad and The Buggy - Nov 2011 TR
Definitely worth the $$$. I would do it again anytime!

Thanks! Right after this I got the All Ears email and it was mentioned in it.

Has anyone done the later in the day trips such as 11:45? or after? I also saw the $50 discount and was considering it for the last week of June but I was hoping for some feedback from others who did one of the later trips before I booked it.
