Smile Old Magic Kingdom Park Maps
I have a huge Magic Kingdom map from the early 1980s. It's about 2 metres by 1.5 metres in size! I was wondering if anyone else has/had one? If they were the main map instead of the little DL folded ones used today? Do you even remember them?

I think it's in the loft, I'll see if I can persuade hubby to pop up there over the weekend and dig it out although very tempted to get the ladder and try myself. I'll take a pic and post once down.

I love maps. I'd be vey interested to see that one.

Is it really 1.5x2 meters? That's HUGE. I'd love to scan that baby for my WDW maps page, but the large format scanner I have access to top out at about 36", or just under 1 meter.

Okay found it and pic is in my albums
Unfortunately not quite as big as I remember but I was young
It's 1 by 0.8 metres
I've taken a quick pic with my phone but will get a better image (hopefully) over the weekend with my camera.

That would have been 20000 Leagues under the Sea. I forget what year it closed but it was eventually drained and filled in (or whatever Disney did) and Pooh's Thoughtful spot was put in it's place. Since then that has been closed down for the new Fantasyland Expansion.

I have a large map of all of Walt Disney World which hangs in my sons bedroom. It is from the late 80's...I would love an up to date one, but haven't seen one in years!

I remember that old map!!

Our last few trips I always pick up extras in case I hear that someone needs one. I wish I had one of these in my pile!!.. I would probably have it framed..LOL!
