MVMCP

I have been waiting for today to come, since I figured the dates for MVMCP would be released and tickets would be available for purchase. It seems like only the dates/tickets for MNSSHP have been released. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that for at least the past few years the information for both MNSSHP and MVMCP has been released on the same day. I wonder what the delay would be in getting the info for MVMCP out there?

Thanks! Did you get that from Allears? I checked them earlier, they must have posted it after I looked They still aren't available for sale on Disneyworld.com, only MNSSHP is. A little part of me was hoping that they hadn't put them on sale yet because they are thinking of changing the schedule The 9th is our last night, and I'm not sure going to the party that night would work for us

Excellent, I've been searching for this info all day! Where did you get the info? I've been checking AllEars all day plus the Disney World site and there's nothing there for purchasing the tickets yet. I guess I'll have to book over the phone.

I found it on Disboards. I was surpised it was not up on AllEars, too. But I called Member Services (since I am a DVC member) and, sure enough, they had the dates and tickets were available for purchase. I was told that Nov. 9 is the first party... which makes sense if you look at the park hours. I was hoping there would be more options as well, but I'm happy enough that we get to go! We typically vacation the first week in November (for Jersey Week) and last year was the first time, in 6 or 7 years, that MVMCP began before we left!

I guess last year was a fluke with so many parties during Jersey Week. We are actually getting in on Thursday night (11/1) and when I saw the party dates I was almost tempted to do both parties this trip since the last MNSSHP is on 11/2. Then I saw the price tag, lol! Have fun at the party!

I am about 99.9% sure that MVMCP tickets are only available by phone as of right now but will come online before too long. As I remember, last year they became available for "advance purchase" over the phone on May 1st but were available for purchase online a week later, on May 8th.

The notices that I saw said that you had to call to order tickets. Does anyone know how quickly the mid December ( 10-19) dates sell out?

Smile MVMCP Online purchase

MVMCP tickets are listed in the special events section of the online ticket purchase section at disney.com. You have to scroll down past the nights of joy and halloween party listings. You can add them to your shopping cart there.
Have fun at the party!

In addition to wondering about sell- out dates, does that REALLY happen(and we're talking for mid-Dec) and is there ever a discount for buying the tickets early? Has anyone ever bought them on the actual day of the event, or would that be risking too much?

Only certain days are discounted for advance purchase and according to the info listed a few posts back, 12/16 is one of them. The tickets would be about $10 cheaper if you buy them in advance. I've never been to one of the parties that late, so I'm not sure about how likely it is that those later dates would sell out, but if it is something that you really want to do I wouldn't wait until the day of. I'd just buy them in advance rather than worry that they might be sold out.

Yay! We're in for two parties. Nov. 12th & 15th. We enjoyed the Pirate & Princess Party so much on our first trip we couldn't do just one!

Booking online for MVMCP is now available, I just booked mine for 6 December there is also an option to print out your tickets instead of picking them up at Will Call or having them posted.

I think we're going to pass on the X-Mas party this year unless DD raises a BIG ruckus. There's only one party during our stay and there is no advance purchase or DVC discount available. It's not worth the price tag to us. We'll probably spend the money on something else magical instead.
