We're going to be doing a bit of eating around world showcase this year. I also plan on doing cupcakes around THE World (a cupcake representing each park), and we did candy around world showcase last year!
Last year my DD27 wanted pictures of herself with a CM from each country in WS.
So, that's what we did around the world. It tooktwo days to complete but was kind of fun! And most CMs were thrilled to be asked to be in our picture.
That's a great idea! I told my fiance that we should split it up this time.. 12 countries: 3 snacks, 3 souvenirs, 3 drinks and 3 of something else! That way we're exploring different parts of that country.

LOL, that's too funny! I only ever get to hear the performers, though I saw the Japanese drums one year and they were amazing!

Oh man! We should come up with a plan together! I have a list of so many cupcakes that I wanna try right now...
We were going to do drinks around the world once, but it took my DH three countries to finish his margarita from Mexico, so that plan kind of fell apart.
I have a friend who did hats around the World Showcase -- a photo in a hat from each country.
But to be honest, that one creeps me out. People trying on hats they have no intention of buying... ugh! I won't even buy a hat unless I can get it from behind a counter where I'm pretty sure I was the first one to wear it.
I've taken pictures of stuffed Mickey, Duffy or other characters dressed in each country's clothing. Or at least I tried to do that. Don't think I quite finished it with other distractions like food! I would love to do that cupcake idea and would love to see your list!

If you're seven month pregnant like I was, this goal makes total sense! In fact, I may have accomplished it (definitely did, if you ask my long-suffering husband).
We have done eating, snacking, hitting all the photo spots, listening to performers, etc. We like to look for unusual books in each country and/or holiday decorations or foods (since we go near Christmas). Collect some kind of food or drink item that travels well and have a round the world dinner or party when you get home.
We also look for Goofy, our favorite character, and try to collect him from different countries. So far we have Canada and Mexico Goofys (plus Darth Goofy from the cart near Star Wars in DHS).

DW is too picky of an eater, and doesn't really drink, so she's all for dancing her way around the world... me, I'm more of a traditionalist... I think I'll eat my way through world showcase with DS5, DS4 is the photo hog of the group so I'll be snapping pictures at the fountains for each country I imagine.
