Re: Mousekeeping Envelopes

I make the ones for our trip using MS Word. I import a picture--this year it was one I took of the Animal Kingdom Lodge lobby. It was a somewhat dark picture so I overlaid it with white text in Papyrus font in the return address field:

Bob & Larry
Walt Disney World
January 26 - February 5, 2006

And in the address field:

Lodgekeeping
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort
January 26, 2006

I updated the date for each day of the stay when I printed each envelope. I used size 6 3/4 self-sealing envelopes and fed them into my printer. MS Word has a tool that helps. From the Tools pulldown menu:

Tools-->Letters and Mailings-->Envelopes and Letters...

Sometimes it takes a bit of work to get it to line up correctly.

Re: Mousekeeping Envelopes

I like to make mine using blank envelopes then we color them and add stickers! They can really be cute. Here's a few we did for our upcoming trip.

Re: Mousekeeping Envelopes

I have a program called Disney Magic Artist Studio. One option is envelopes with matching cards. I got lucky to find it on clearance.!

Re: Mousekeeping Envelopes

I let my dd decorate envelopes however she wants as long as she writes Mousekeeping on them.

Re: Mousekeeping Envelopes

I have done them many different ways. One year I printed out the word Mousekeeping on them and I then used a stencil with swirls and circles to make Mickey heads. I also let DD doodle and scrible on them.

One year I found clip art and printed them out. For the last several trips I have used my Mickey head punches and scraps of Mickey paper to decorate them. (yes, I am a scrapbooker! )
