Beast costume help! Since seeing the Beauty and the Beast musical a few weeks ago, ds is adamant that he wants to be the Beast for Halloween. He and twin dd have also decided that she should be Belle (as a peasant). So...has anyone seen a Beast costume? I typically make the kids' costumes (DD has been Sleeping Beauty and Snow White the last 2 years, DS was Captain Hook last year!) Suppose I can find a pattern to make Beast? Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful!

Re: Beast costume help! I think so. I remember seeing them in the catalog....but I really only remember the adult version. I'm not sure about a kid version. At first I thought I might have it, but then I remembered that the one I have is the dragon from Sleeping Beauty.

Re: Beast costume help! I've seen patterns in the fabrics stores in PA - but that was back closer to when the movie came out. Try there and then also on eBay (things for Halloween will really pick up in August.) Eileen

Re: Beast costume help! Thanks for all of the help. I actually found a costume on e-bay, a close out from the disney catalog, but it was a S, probably too small since we live in WI and Halloween is usually cold...we get costumes big enough to put winter coats under. I showed him the pattern...he's not happy that it is not the WHOLE Beast...head with horns and all, but I explained that we probably wouldn't find anything better. I did order the costume and we'll hang on to it in case I don't find anything else! Thanks again, you guys are the best!
