| We carry our pennies and quarters in a pill bottle -- makes it easy to tell if I need to restock. I carry a second bottle for the pennies after they're pressed, and transfer them to a ziploc baggie for the trip home. We have a WDW pressed coin book -- as I recall they're pretty readily available. But we do pressed pennies on all our travels and have penny albums we've bought in other places, too. Most of them are black and rather generic, but some zoos and museums put their logo on the front or have their own penny imprint in the cover. I think DD is on album #5

| We got a list of the location of all the pressed penny machines from a cast member in POFQ . It made the hunt for certain characters so much easier.

| Pressed Pennies You can get a list of pressed penny locations and characters available from Guest Services at any park. We found one for Dash on this trip - so they have been adding characters and newer machines. I use my kids vitamin bottle to carry pennies and quarters - it holds quite a few. You should also check the date of the pennies - it's best to use those prior to 1982 because of the copper content. We try and polish ours before our trip as well. |

| Soak old pennies in vinegar and a little dash of salt to shine them up. My DS loves to do this. He is stocking up for our August trip.

| My book is forever old. It has all the characters riding the monorail. It is full so this trip I need to buy a new one. Has anyone downloaded the worksheet about pressed pennies on passporter?

| Pressed Pennies Tip* If you have a vacuume machine, vacuum seal your pennie book between trips. This keeps the air out of your book and your pennies don't oxodise as much. It also keeps the pennies from sliding out of a "loose" sleeve.
