I don't know much about it, but I guess just offer it on here and people will ask if they need you. Or keep an eye out for posts looking for one.

A Fairy Godmailer is someone who is willing to spread a bit of magic by sending out postcards "from" the characters while they are in Disney.

You volunteer by posting in this forum when you are going and how many you're willing to do. Limit yourself to however many you think you can handle, usually in the 5 - 10 range, depending on how long your trip is.

Those requesting a card send you their details in a Private Message or e-mail. Details are name of reciepient, mailing addresss, favorite characters, any celebrations (Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary, etc.

Take stamps with you and when you get to WDW, you buy postcards and write a little note from the requested character or "Mickey and The Gang". Just drop them into the mail at your resort! Some FGMs go out of their way to actually get the character to sign and others sign themselves "as" that character.

I volunteered for the first time my last trip and had a lot of fun!
