Disney Half Marathon

My DD's goal is to run a full marathon in 2008 and in preparation she wants to do the Disney half marathon in January. It's the weekend before her equestrian team has a training week in Orlando, so logistically it works out well.

My question is what is it like for both runners and spectators? Is it worth the large registration fee?

Can't offer you any ideas on what it's like for runners.
we were there this year during it. The spectators all seemed to be having a great time cheering, and waving signs.
Seems as if was all over fairly early. But, then we saw lots of runners and their "support teams" all over the parks, wearing their Donald (for the mini) and Mickey (for the full) and Goofy (for both) medals. they were all very happy looking.

I guess I can't say because I haven't done it yet, but I am doing it in 2008 and I think it'll be lots of fun. I look forward to it!
