| Would it be possible to post a picture of this? My brain is on "duh" right now and I can't picture it! Thanks. |

| Thats a great idea. I found that useing a comic book plastic cover saved my passpockets when carrying them in my hip pack. boB

| Thanks Carla for the great idea! That is perfect to carry just what you need. I usually carry my passpocket in a ziploc bag so it doesn't get wet, but it could still get bent.

| Great ideas. I was one of those who first time or two carried the whole passporter around (to keep the book pristine and not take out pockets that can't be put back in. Then, I quit carrying it and instead use 4"x6" index card with information on times, meals etc and carried park maps gotten at the front gates. Now I think maybe I will remove the pockets and carry them. (ohhh gonna step outside the comfort zone here) OR I'll get two books (hehehehe so I can take one apart and have a perfect one to move the stuff into when we get home).

| I actually this week found a small book for index cards. It has 2 holes punched in it and 2 dividers. It was 1.99!!! I'm transfering my stuff in now, so I can carry this little (and the binder is plastic) in the parks and not the whole PP. It even has a little pocket in the front that you could put one days cards into. I was so excited when I found it.

| Thanks! Great idea. I was just thinking the other day. My daughter is going off to college in a couple of years and I will have an empty nest. I think I will still go 'back to school' shopping just to see all the neat new things they have. I wish they had some of this stuff when I was in school. I learned that it is actually easier to write on Mead brand paper than other kinds of paper/notebooks. |
