I feel bad that my friend isn't getting vacation mail from Disney like I am (ticket vouchers, reservations confirmation, and nice little personalized "trip planning information" packet), as I get more excited with each mailing, so I'm going to print up some Disney-themed postcards to send to her in the mail "from" the characters.

I know where I can download character clipart graphics for the cards, but I'd also like some actual photos of characters for some of the cards, too. I don't personally have any character photos (well, I have one autographed photo of Mickey from the 1980s that "he" mailed to me to thank me for the Disney shoebox diorama I made and gave him [via Guest Relations] one trip - but that's in my photo album and I don't know where my album is). I do have a few scenery/ride photos I can use.

Anyway, so I was wondering if y'all had any character photos you wouldn't mind letting me use for the front of one of my postcards? It needs to either be just the character or in a way that I (or you, before sending it) can crop out your friends/family members' faces/bodies (or most of their bodies - I can always edit some parts out) - I won't be using them on the cards (that'd be a little weird...). I assure you that I'm only going to use them this once for the postcards to my friend.

im sure you will get lots of replies , but if you need more let me know and i have lots of disney and universal pics- name of characters helps

Only ones I have are from Disney Land...

Have great pics of the castle and Space Ship Earth though (and a great shot of a rhino butt from Animal Kingdom lol)

I have Mickey and Minnie kissing in their blue outfits, I might have Donald and Daisy on their own in blue outfits.

When in a pinch, I sometimes use the image function on google.

I don't need Universal ones, as we're not going there, but I'm not picky about which characters - just so long as I know their names so "they" can "sign" the back of the postcard.

Whoever wants to send me pix, PM me for my e-mail addy 'cause I'm not going to post it for the SPAM bots to pick up.

I figured y'all would have some better pix than Google would find (having to sort through all the bad, unusable, and irrelevant ones, especially), so I figured I'd ask you first. Plus, that way I have the permission to use them.

yeah, the link in my sig... i can make them available without the watermark if you ID what you need. original images are 8MP, so you can safely crop them or whatever.

Brad, I'm sure you know you rock, but I have to tell you that, anyway.

I'll browse your site and let you know which ones I need (when you offered, I figured you meant you'd give me ones without the watermark ). They will turn out a lot better than some of those clipart graphics I downloaded last night off a couple Web sites, as most of those are too small. (The coloring book types are the largest ones - I think I'll send her a few of those so she can color a few postcards!)

Don't worry - the trip is in May, so there's only so many postcards I can send before then! I will be using some of the clipart graphics, too.

As soon as I stop posting on the board (hehe), I'll go through your pictures.
