Okay, so I just made Troian Rae's Bibbity Boppity Boutique appointment for our September trip.

We are planning on going to the September 28th MNSSHP and Troian has "announced" that she was going to go to BBB and would "be" Cinderella for the party.

Hence the reason I made the reservation. We plan on doing the Castle package so she can "become" her favorite princess for MNSSHP.

So here's my question - what ALL do you really get with the package?? I'm a little nervous about the final cost because it starts at $175 and goes up.

I'm interested in the good and the bad about your experiences at BBB.
So tell ALL!!

My daughter had the least expensive package. She had her hair put up with a Mickey hairclip in the back; light makeup applied (with my permission) on eyes, lips, and maybe cheeks; jeweled face stickers stuck on her face; a sash given to her to wear across her chest; and a bag containing leftover makeup and face stickers given to her to take home. There was also a Photopass photographer recording her transformation.

I'm sure others on the boards have experience with the more expensive packages.

My nieces did the Crown package, which is the middle package. It was a wonderful experience. We had one of the first appointments of the day, so we didn't have to wait at all. They had a brochure with a sticker with "Princess Mackenzie" and "Princess Maeve" on it, and they looked through the brochure and chose their hair style. The fairy-godmothers-in-training were wondeful - sweet and patient and very good at styling as well! They painted their nails first (so they could dry while they were doing the other stuff), and then did their make-up. Each little girl got to pick out the colors they wanted for nails and makeup (lids, lips, etc.) and a face-jewel sticker. It was too cute! The make-up looks really bright in the packages, but when it goes on, it's pretty pale, which is a good thing - don't want little girls looking like drag queens, ya know? Then they did their hair. Mackenzie's "Diva" package took longer than Maeve's "Fairytale" one, maybe because the diva involves extensions? They stylists talked to the girls some while they were working on them - asked them what their favorite princess was, what they had done so far in WDW, etc.

The entire time, Mama and I sat and on this round bench and watched and took pictures. They also had a photopass guy coming around and taking pictures during the process. The stylists kept the girls turned away from the mirror while they were working, so they would be surprised when they spun them around, and also, Mama and I could see what they were doing.

At the end, they put the sash on them, made them "sit like a princess", and spun them around. The photopass photograper captured the moment they saw themselves in the mirror, which was priceless! Then they had them close their eyes and sprinkled pixie dust on them.

The girls absolutely loved it. They loved their fairy godmothers, loved the treatments, loved everything! I was so pleased with the service and the outcome. They definitely cater to little girls in every way possible, calling them "Princess Mackenzie" and curtseying to them when they sit down. They also had a lot of neat techniques and tricks that were good for little girls who may not like to sit still or get hair sprayed, etc. I would say the whole process took about 45 minutes, from arrival to payment. However, we did not do the package with the costume.

Y'all are gonna love BBB!

for the record, nothing wrong with the castle package, but just so you're aware... first, you're free to buy your own dress if you wish (which would have a discount on it if you have an AP or Disney Visa) and all that. second, you can make use of the photopass, both in BBB and the photo studio by guest relations, you just have to buy prints a la carte (AP'ers actually can get a voucher for a free print from the website for by may 31 i think), but if you're planning on buying the CD, it won't matter anyway.

My daughters did the middle package Jana and it was the highlight of our trip!! Iknow your daughter will love it!! With the most expensive package they get their hair and make-up done as well as their princess costume as well as the shoes. They also get their photograph done at DTD. If you want to save some money you could do the middle package and bring your own costume and shoes. They have a Photopass person there taking pictures at the boutique.

We went twice last October! Once at the beginning of the trip and once more the day we were leaving. My girls were 4 and had a fabulous time! In fact they told me I have to go with them and get done up next year. The first time we got the middle package. They got to choose their own hair style. Then they got to choose which colors were applied for make up. *I'm trying not to repeat what has already been said, so please excuse any holes in the story). They also got to choose what color their nails would be. The hair pieces were fabulous and we've used them several times since we've gotten home. The nail polish was overpriced at $10 and we didn't opt to have them done again the second time we visited.

We saw other people getting the whole package and the girls were brought over to a rack to choose their costume. They went into a dressing room to try them on. They then were brought over to the accessories to choose what they needed. Personally I thought that part of the package to be way overpriced. Especially at that time of year. We went mid-October last year and right before we left I was able to get Princess costumes at the Disney Store for half price! Now that is half of the Disney Store price. The costumes are even more inflated at WDW.

If it's your daughters birthday, let them know because they have a special Birthday PRincess sash and they get to sign the Birthday Book.

They have the girls facing the parents through the whole transformation. When they're done they have the girls make a wish and they sprinkle them with the best glitter I have ever seen. Then they turn them around to see how they look. We kept finding bits of glitter in their hair for weeks afterwards.

My girls wouldn't let me wash their hair for 3 days after they had it done. The Diva Princess with the little Tiara had to be redone each morning, but the other styles stayed in nicely.

Stefanie had the Crown Packaage last year and will again this June. (We bring a dress/costume from home rather than do the Castle Package.) She had her hair, nails, and makeup done. You get to keep the entire makeup palette, which she has used for special occasions, and she picked the fake nails which are reuseable and comes with a couple of sets. She has already decided to just have her nails polished this year at the fake nails, well, felt fake. The CM gives devoted attention to your princess while going through the whole treatment. There was a PhotoPass photographer who circulated the room taking many pictures at all stages of the transformation and quite a few of mom, dad, and princess after she was finished.

We have an appt set up for DD when we go this next time. I think you have the prices mixed up.
From what I've read...
$35 for hair and make-up
$45 for hair, make-up and nails
$175 for the above plus a dress, etc

We'll be bringing our own dress (for MNSSHP use that night). I can't see paying $135 for a dress when she has several in her closet already!!

It may have just been the reservationist reading the computer screen rhetoric without thinking, but when I booked the $35 package, he did include to have clean nails (as well as have clean hair and bring your own brush). Several people on here have said the $35 package includes painting your real nails (but no fake nails), so I will take all this to mean that they will paint your nails, but for fake nails you gotta cough up $10 more.

HAving had both packages done for my girls last October I can tell you that the $35 price is just for hair and makeup only. The $45 package includes nails and you can choose to have fake nails OR painted nails. If you get the painted nails you get a free bottle of nail polish to bring home with you. The message they give you about arriving with clean nails and brushed hair is the same statement they make for all packages. They don't want you showing up and then decide to get the nails done and they can't because you you already have nail polish on. Just like they ask you to bring your own brush or comb. The first time we went we didn't have one with us, but their hair was freshly combed. Instead of using a comb or brush they used their fingers. The second time we brought one, but they gave each girl a wide tonged comb to take home that they had used on their hair. I believe they ask you to bring your own because they can't reuse the comb and it must add up in cost to hand out a free comb to each girl (even though I'm sure they're bought in mega-bulk!). If you want nails done I would triple check with BBB. The website says the $35 package is hair and makeup only.

Nope, I don't want my nails done. I'm not real into nail polish and such. I don't think I'd want somebody else doing it for me, either.

I believe I read (I think on a Web site I found via Google) that they give everybody a plastic comb like they give everybody the little makeup palette and sash, but you have to bring your own brush. Although, I read they also sell brushes there now for ppl who forget them or don't want to bring their own. I'm planning on picking up two of those little, cheap, travel-sized pin brushes you can get at the drug store. We'll be going from a park to BBB and back to another park, so I don't want to carry around a big brush and I also don't want strangers using my own brush - that's just a little weird. Several years ago, I used to have one of the little travel-sized brushes in my purse for whenever I needed it (that's how small and convenient they are) - but then one day I was at an ice skating rink with a group of ppl and when I went to get something out of my purse, the brush fell out and went under a vending machine . I never bought a replacement for it.

I don't have any experience to offer, Jana, but I think this will make her birthday especially magical!! Can't wait to see the photos and hear all about it!!

I've done the 35.00 pkg. twice and never had offer made to paint my nails and they were clean and unpolished at time.
I was given speil about clean nails etc but than she caught herself on nail part. If they will do my nails great I don't want fake ones.

My DD did the $45.00 package and had a blast. It was worth it. She was already wearing her costume when they did her makeover. Then after that we just zipped over to CRT for lunch. All the princesses commented on her hair and outfit. SHe loved it. I personally can't see spending $135.00 for the makeover, costume and pictures becuase you can already have them in a costume and they have the photopass people taking pictures the whole time plus you can take pictures too. That is just my opinion but either way your daughter will have a great time!!!
