i'd be inclined to believe that the woman to his right in the second pic is meg crofton too, president of wdw (could be wrong though).

closest i ever came was seeing meg doing a photo shoot in front of the tree at MK while on the yuletide fantasy tour. also ran into brad rex in the epcot cast member building during the backstage magic tour in sept 2005 where he shamelessly plugged the food & wine festival over and over

I've actually had the pleasure to meet both Michael Eisner and Bob Iger twice (two times each). Michael was very stuck up and standoffish. I was a cast member at DAK and the park hadn't opened yet. His "security" instructed us before he arrived to not speak to him or pay attention to him. Well, that day in particular was a day we were all allowed to ride Dinosaur over and over (we did that a lot before the park officially opened...we were testers). Anyway, Michael sat right behind me on the attraction. His security glared at me but I still said "hello Mr Eisner. Nice to meet you." He didn't even so much as smile. He looked me dead in the eye and never said a word. Jerk. The second time was while I was backstage at work. Again, we were told to not speak to him. It was really odd and uncomfortable.

Mr Iger on the other hand has been nothing but gracious!!! He's very relaxed and very open. He's allowed me to take a picture with him, he's had full conversations with me and asked me about my opinions. Both time I met him, he was very casual and pleasant. I got a completely different vibe from him. Love him.

My mother actually was his room inspector at the Beach Club when he was here a few months ago. She met his entire family and they even invited her out for brunch one day. She said everyone was really sweet and always thanked the housekeepers profusely.

I think what I like the most about him is that he's "just one of us." Ya know?

Kelly

I often instruct my security detail to protect me from the underlings. I feel it fosters a deep sense of fear, er, respect.

So cool! Thanks for sharing the experiences. I saw Eisner once, suspecting it was him, but didn't approach him. Boy am I glad! Bob Iger sounds like a much more respectable leader.
