You're in Charge (Again)!

Okay -- you've just been promoted to All-Powerful Grand Poobah of the Walt Disney Resort in Florida (and/or Disneyland Resort in California). You've got four theme parks, two water parks, a retail/entertainment district and 20+ hotels to work with.

What gets removed (i.e. waste of space or outlived its usefulness) or revamped/remodeled (i.e. needs to be outfitted with current technology or generally overhauled)?

Get those wrecking balls in motion!

Ditto! I'll put my thinking cap on. Methinks that "safe" skybuckets will be on the menu.

I hate to say this but I would remove the transit authority. It is a great break but it needs some serious updates.

LOL.....we rode TTA last time we were there.....after seeing it touted by other Passporters as their "favorite" ride/attraction. ...the ONLY good thing i can say about it is that it is a chance to sit down....and is mostly shaded......

That thing needs to GO!

I would love to see the monorail extended to cover all Disney properties. Maybe the TTA could be used for that (or not! ).

Not sure if I would tear anything down. From what I've read it seems a few of the hotels could stand some refurbishing.

I agree on the Monorail. It should go to all 4 parks.

I would also have them finish Pop Century. What a waste of money for those buildings to sit there half finished & empty! They could surely use the value rooms!

I love Epcot and the World Showcase, I would love to see a few more countries added. Australia, Thailand, Brazil, Argentina, etc. Better transportation between the parks (like the monorail) would be nice too. Other than that I am pretty happy with the way it is.

What should be first??

1. Put the Tiki Room back the way it was
2. Put Imagination back the way it was
3. Rename MGM, either to MGM or just Disney Studios and remove the hat

That would just be for starters. I know I'll come up with more

I would bring back Mr Toad's Wild Ride. They could put it in place of Transit Authority.

Bring back submarine ride (not the new Nemo version)

Make a park like Tokyo's Disneysea in Florida (better still in Australia)!

Paid parking at Downtown Disney and then have buses from the parks direct to DD

Run Princess/Pirates party all year long!!!

I'm all for more countries in World Showcase AND I want to work in the Australia pavillion too!

I really do love the parks the way they are but this is a WISH LIST.

At Disneyland I would get rid of Autotopia!!! It just seems like an idea whose time has gone.

At WDW I would add more countries in the World Showcase too!!!

I also agree about the monorail going to all the parks!!!

Add more roller coasters and thrill rides for those of us "older" kids.

Add a hotel themed like the Tower of Terror.

Hire me and the salary I am making now or more.

The last time we were there we drove and I did not think the roads to the parks and such had enough "direction" to them. What I mean is lets say the sign says Magic Kingdom or Typhoon Lagoon right lane. I want to know how far in that right lane. Like 1/2 mile or second exit on right. Just something more descriptive.

Ok here goes:

Magic Kingdom--
I would change Tiki Birds back to the Original Version (sorry but I just don't like the New Management!)
I would maybe enclose the Noodle Station and move the Plaza restaurant over there and then expand the Ice Cream Parlor into where the plaza is now!

Sorry but the Pooh's Playground would go and I would maybe make a new rollercoaster/adult ride that maybe ties into a Monster's Inc theme where you are riding "your door" or maybe Finding Nemo and your riding the EAC with Marlin and Dory Squirt and Crush

EPCOT

I would get rid of Journey into your Imagination the current version. Revamp it to bring back Dream Finder but modernize it enough that it keeps interest.

I would bring more Quick Service Restaurants or Table Service restaurants in Future world maybe more geared towards the theme of science or Space travel or something.

Wonders of Life Pavillion would be redone and maybe turned into a Pavillion on Computer techonology. Maybe if Disney quest does close they could take "Cyber Mountain" and install it in this pavillion that way there is a Rollar Coaster in each theme park!

MGM/Hollywood Studios

I would put more quick Service foods for breakfast and maybe some more Table Service restaurants in seems to be very few places to eat in this park.

I would bring back Superstar Television. I loved that attraction and all it would need is newer shows to spoof on and it would get people involved!

I think Sounds Dangerous would need to close.

I would love for them to find a different kind of ride for Star tours with all the techonology we have they could do more with this ride.

Animal Kingdom
I would get rid of the carnival games over in Dino Land and use that space for a ride or show rather then a place for people to lose more money.

I would honestly turn Tusker House back into a Quick Service restaurant. Keep Donald's a Quick Service Restaurant.

I would build a restauarnt in Camp Minnie Mickey that would be full service and would be the character breakfast/Lunch/Dinner.

Pleasure Island

I would love to see them put the turnstiles back in and charge 1 price for everything so that you can go club to club to club without having to show wristbands except if your looking to get a drink.

Thats what I'd do but not that it'd happen or that others would agree with my choices.

But interesting thread!
