| Photopass? I was reading some posts about photopass. I kind of understand what it is but I read that you can purchase it online and it is cheaper. Do you purchase it before you go? How do you get the cd? Do you have to develop the pictures at home? Oh yeah, I am in Canada, are we able to take advantage of it? Thanks for all your help. Elaine ![]()

| When you go to the parks there are photogs that take your picture at different locations in the parks. The first time you have your picture taken they give you a card. Much like a credit card. Every time you have pictures taken again, they add the pictures to your account. Once you arrive home, you go online to the Photopass website and you can add borders and such to your photos. Once you are done adding all of the borders that you want, you can then purchase the CD, photos, movie and scrapbook. If you want, you purchase the CD and then take to your local picture processing people and print the pictures or print them at home. Any more questions, just ask.

| You can order the CD before your trip and it is cheaper. I went to WDW twice in Sept. I didn't order my CD until I returned from the first trip, but I didn't log on to my pics either. When I returned from the 2nd trip I had 125 photos. After I added borders and cropped pics I had 274 on the CD. If you prepay the CD it is $99.95. I just sent my pics off to be printed for 6 cents each for 4x6's.

| Welcome to the Boards, Elaine!! One thing about the CD and Canadians, is that it's a crap-shoot about whether you will be charged GST and duty on it at the border. Some have reported being charged, and others have reported no extra charges at all.

| Thank you Elaine for asking this! And thank you Bradk for that link! I've been wanting to do the photo CD, and didn't know about pre-ordering it. You save $25.00 - and it's even refundable if you change your mind after the trip! (Now if I only knew how to get my photo-shy hubby to let the photogs take our picture!)
