| Re: Souvenirs I'm with Familyof5! I collect water globes. The large globe of Cinderella's Castle is the perfect centerpiece for the entire collection. They are very elegant and a lasting memory. Judie B |

| Re: Souvenirs MaggieMay - Your husband & mine would get along great!! I always get a new pair of Mickey earrings. My favorites are the ones I got last summer -silver with Mickey "parts" dangling on them. My daughter got a felt pillow in yellow and blue with a Mickey silloutte(sp?)-very cool. | Re: Souvenirs Since, I haven't been to WDW yet, I'm not sure what I want to find...T-shirts are usual, I guess...can I find any in XXL? I, too, like snowglobes, and might look for a Cindy one, she's my favorite...But, the pins sound great, I have freinds that collected bunches of them. Are they collector's items? Are there any very special editions that I should look out for? Should I bring something from New Jersey (a pin) and offer to trade? I know that these questions are covered elsewhere, but I don't remember where in the Board. |

| Re: Souvenirs We try to collect coffee mugs from every vacation that we take. The mugs must have the location (and hopefully year) of the trip. My mother started this tradition. Also, I collect hats for my son. Last year we purchase a hat in the AK with the skeleton of a dinosaur (raised) on the front. It really is a nice hat, and the colors (tan and eggshell) go with everything. We get so many compliments on that hat. |

| Re: Souvenirs Peg B -- XXL and larger are easy to find at WDW, I have several. Last year I bought my dd a Tinkerbell bell. She loves TB and I thought it would be extra special. Until she sat on it and broke it in several thousand pieces. (no injury to her backside thankfully) I promised her a replacement in July. I want to find a snow globe. Tenya |

| Re: Souvenirs We collect shot glasses from wherever we go. Quite a collection started. Also, I like to buy postcards with Disney pics on them. I don't mail them to anyone, just keep them in my scrapbook. We also do the christmas ornaments too. I think we are going to have just a Disney tree soon. Too many ornament! | Re: Souvenirs Well after this last trip, I couldn't resist the following: New coffee mug with 2000 logo, a beautiful colbolt blue with all the char. on it(World of Dis Store)...A cute magnet with a clip to hold papers, it has a floating tinkerbell in it(Emporium)2 Beautiful wine goblets(from Germany)-One with Mickey and one with Minne on the stems, 2000 WDW etched on the glass! A new XXL Navy blue sweatshirt with a small red Mickey on it. Looked all over for a black umbrella with Mickey ears on it, couldn't find one thou'. Anyone ever see them?? real cute! My daughter bought a small stuffed tigger and Winnie headband(ears). But the last few years we started collecting the pressed pennies that they sell in machines throughout WDW. Different Resorts have different machines..One night we went to 6 different resorts! We got a great book to save them in, where they just slide right in and now have about 25! Until next time~! |

| We usually change between t-shirts and hoodie sweatshirts. Depends if we are living in the south or north. Always a Christmas ornament and magnent. DS seems to be buying a few watches lately. Loosing them, but still buying them. |

| Wow this thread is old I generally go for typical tourist things wherever I go- tshirts, postcards, pins, baseball caps. I also try to get something small for the girls for Christmas or another upcoming holiday- that always surprises them. Will is never easy to shop for, he never will admit that he likes something, whether that be a shirt or a new coffee mug. I usually still get it and then he's always happy |
