| Crissy, The moisture wicking clothes really do make a difference. They also have moisture wicking socks. I am so excited about the EPCOT meet. Not only will I get to meet everyone who is running the race, but it sounds like alot of passporters are going to be at the Illuminations meet!!!!! I was listening to a podcast the other day and they were interviewing some of the mom's from the Disney Mom's panel. One of them said that all of them on the panel were planning on running in the EE 5k Challenge. I thought that was pretty cool. They said they would have on matching shirts that would identify them. I think that there will be quite alot of people running the race so I don't know if anyone will see them or not. I just thought that it was neat to know that they were there. You never know.

| Starla: Glad you are back into the swing of it. I don't blame you for running inside until you find a safe place to run. I also bought some wicking shirts this weekend since it was tax free weekend and I had a Kohls 30% off coupon. Within in the next two weeks I plan on buying new tennis shoes and new wicking socks. They are the best not just for running but for WDW in general. Dee: I also am excited about the Illuminations meet. I have already warned DH that he would be meeting a bunch of my Passporter friends. I changed our ADR time for Rose and Crown from 7:30 to 5:15. I so wanted the chance to see Illuminations from the Rose and Crown but not as much as I want to meet Passporters. That was the latest opening they had at Rose and Crown but I am hoping to try and squeak in something just a tad later. If not I will have plenty of time to scope at some FAB drinks before the meet. |

| Maria: turns out it was an old injury about six years ago i badly sprained my right ankle...if i lift weights just the wrong way with that ankle it puts me out of commission for a few days. I knew better when i did this certain machine on friday...i felt my ankle "POP" and i was like ohhhh sh** Its done it before and so far i'm lucky that this is the first time since working out for nearly a year straight that its done this. My DBF Eric said i'm lucky i didnt do this literally right before the race I cant believe you and tammy are nearly done with Cto5K!!!!! Congrats to you both!!! My DBF said to me last night "are you going to do this after the race" I told him i'm kinda addicted to it now...the running and working out...so yeah i see myself continuing to train myself to run*L* Good luck this week guys!!!!

| Maria, Congratulations on finishing week 8! One more week. ![]() Crissy, I hope that your ankle is feeling much better. I agree with you about continuing running after the race. It is adictive, and to think that I only started so that I could have a medal from disney. Tammy, I agree moisture wicking socks are great. I didn't think about wearing them in the parks too. I will have to buy some more, they should help prevent blisters too. My internet provider's server was down for almost a week so that is why I have been missing for so long. Hopefully they are back on track.

| The race is on September 27th in AK...i believe its nearly sold out though. Last i checked at the end of last week it was 90% full!!!! The race is a 5K run/walk/jog through Animal Kingdom, with an obstacle course and scavenger hunt at the end. There is a set time and it can be competive but i'm not doing this for competition, not this time anyway

| Dawn: Thanks...not sure what i did exactly but it still is tender. I was reading online and it says that it can take 7-14 days to heal and it says that you have to do these rehabilitative exercises with your foot because if it begins to heal and there's no movement it can be really sore when you do try to move it which i think that's why its still tender because it only aches after I move all day. So, i'm going to pray some, do the exercises and slowly introduce my workout back in next week....this really stinks*LOL* I'm going to have to look into those socks because last year when i wore tennis shoes i got a bad blister and to think when i wore my teva sandals it felt better!!! go figure!! Congrats Maria!!! I'm so excited for you! even with the surgery too! This inspires me to work through the pain! No pain no gain right? *L* Tammy hows the training? Okay news from Crissy aka Djcrysi. I'm meeting her for dinner in TN this weekend. I am going to the Bristol aka Nascar race this weekend and its next to where she lives. I talked to her last night and she says she's getting up at 530am and going for her walk before she goes to school. She said work is so busy right now that her training is a slow go but I told her its all good we are running at disney right??? it cant be something to dread at all*LOL* Have a great weekend guys!
