Miniature golf vouchers

Has anyone ever used the miniature golf vouchers that come with the MYW package? What exactly are they? I guess I mean are they good for everyone in the room to golf or are they for an amount and we pay the rest. Any info anyone has I would appreciate. THANKS!

I'm interested to find out myself as I should be getting these this summer myself. Unless I find out for sure, I'm going with the assumption that it's a fixed dollar amount off a round of mini golf per person. That's what I've gotten at other hotels (not Disney) for other mini golf courses.

Glad you asked because I need to find out also. We usually focus on DisneyQuest but this time we really want to try a round of miniture golf.

We used one last Christmas (2007). The voucher was good for 1 person for 1 round. Since we were a party of 2, booked on a MYW package, I got a free round of golf and my DH paid for his.

We played Winter Summerland winter course, and it was lots of fun (I finally skunked DH at a game of something).

I have not used the vouchers either because it is 1 round per room. There were 6 of us in our party between 2 rooms, so that means we would have had to pay for 4 rounds. At $11.75 per adult & $9.75 per child we chose to spend that time in already paid for activities!

We have the water parks and more, so is it still only 1 round per room?

The "Water Parks and More" option only includes Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, DisneyQuest, Pleasure Island and WWoS.

We used them last year. It is for 1 person to have a free round. We did that and then you can play a second round at their standard 1/2 price second round. So we hit both courses. We had a blast and plan on doing it again in August.

We used them last summer. The voucher is for 1 person for 1 round. We also booked through AAA so we used our diamond club card to get a discount for the second person. We combine it with a trip to BB, so we only have one bus trip - play golf at Winter Summerland and then hit the water park to cool off!

I haven't used the vouchers (we're AP) but playing mini golf at Disney is one of our favorite things to do so take advantage of any discount you might get!! Then come on the boards and let me know how much you it!!! Winter-Summerland has two different 18-hole courses (one winter themed and one summer themed) and is better for younger kids. Fantastia Gardens is a bit more challenging but equally fun - great for older kids and adults who like to get competitive with each other (not that the two adults in my house now anything about that!!! )

Check out the Winter Summerland photos in the PassPorter gallery!

If you have an AP, I believe you can get a few rounds at half price.

That's what we did -- used the voucher for one of us and our AP discounts for the rest.

I love Winter Summerland and giggle like a "maroooon" at the elves' poems.

Thanks for the info everyone! But am I the only one who thinks $11.95 for an adult and $9.95 for a child is a bit much for mini golf. Yikes! We must be spoiled. Now mind you we have our own mini golf course at the park we own here in Ohio and do not pay to golf but we only charge a $1 a round. Wow we are way under priced. Of course our park is NOTHING like Disney. Oh well I think golfing on the last day maybe out. I would rather spend the money on good Mickey stuff!

Though I agree 11.95 and 9.95 are a bit high for mini golf, I do think $1 per round is too low!!! Last summer we paid $4.95 per adult in central Massachusetts. I would love to go mini golf and just pay to play (it would be a one time thing) but my kids and husband aren't interested.
