| Just had a look at the PhotoPass site (following the link on page 1) and found this..... Purchase your PhotoCD before your vacation to lock in on our very best value available. Plus Now you can add a Disney's Photo Book for just $50 more! That looks like good value if you plan on getting a Photo Book too!!!

| How many pictures on the CD? I know on most photo CDs, they can only fit a certain amount on there. Do you know how many come on these? Also, just to be sure this is right, you pre-order the CD. Then the photogs at the park do all the photopass pictures like normal. But at the end, you can pick as many as you want, with whatever borders you want, etc. and then they send you the CD? And then I can take the CD to Target or wherever to have as many prints of those pictures as I want? What's the catch? This seems too good to be true? I've ordered the individual prints in the past and they're pricey! Also, can you add on the pictures from the rides? Like Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Tower of Tower, etc., onto your photo pass?

It doesn't matter how many photos you end up with and how many CDs they need to put them on, you pay the same price of $99.95 (if you pre order) or $149.95 (if you choose to order after you get home and look at the photos). Quote:
Go on your trip and have the PhotoPass people take all the pics of you that you want. Come home and look at the photos, make edits to them (add borders, crop them, make them black and white, etc.) then when you are ready to have it sent to you, add it to your cart on the website, add your pre-order code and pay for the $7 shipping. Easy as that! After you get the CD, you can take it (along with the copyright release form they send inside the CD) to Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, etc. and have any of the photos printed. ![]() Quote:

| Thanks Dopeygirl - Thanks so much for confirming all of this for me! I can't see how Disney can sell this so inexpensively. (Well, for Disney, it's inexpensive, relatively speaking.) But I'm gonna take advantage of it for our trip in September! -janet

| OK, I was getting ready to order the CD and book. The CD is still $99 for the pre-order, but it says with the book it is $169! Is the book worth $69? I'm thinking Snapfish for that.

| I wouldn't get the book through them if I were you. I did so for this last trip, just to try it once. There were a few benefits: --I could use the Photopass photos without having to upload them all. --When I decided I wanted a particular Photopass photo with a different border than what I'd ordered on the CD, I could just make that change right there on the site. (If I'd been going through Snapfish, I would have to have just used whatever was on the CD.) --I was able to use some stock Disney photos in my book. I didn't use many, but the few I chose worked really well. For example, I added a picture of Mickey and Minnie in front of the castle (which I of course couldn't have taken on my own) and a picture of my resort with a resort logo on it. However, there were quite a few disadvantages, which really outweighed the advantages: --The cost was more than I would have paid through another site such as Snapfish or Walgreens, especially if I had a coupon code. --The stock photos were pretty limited and patchy. For example, there might be 4 photos of one resort, but then none at all of another. I often couldn't find a photo to go with the ride, park, etc, that I wanted. --The photo book builder was not flexible at all. I could only put 1-4 photos per page, with very little variety in layout for each. There were 5 or 6 different design sets (e.g. Fab Five, Classic Pals, Elegant), and each number of photos had 3-4 layout options within each design set. However, there was often only 1 or maybe 2 that had text boxes. I ended up having to use the same page designs over and over to be able to add text to each page. I wish they had some collage options, with more than 4 photos, and they definitely need more layout choices with most offering text boxes!

| Thanks for the site! I was looking for it back in July when we went but then I got a coupon for 20% off my order on a birthday photpass card. We got it at check-in since we were there celebrating my birthday.
