| Christmas Photo-ops If you are going to be in WDW after they start doing Mickey's Christmas party, decorations will be up for certain in MK. Castle is covered in lights that make it look more magical than ever. Photographers are all over the place, ready to take your photo at the prime holiday photo spots (or so it seemed when we were there last Thanksgiving). Photo pass system works well if you do not mind getting your cards from Disney. We did a set of "special" Disney Chritmas cards (with Tink, of course) for close family and friends - they turned out really well. From at least the week of Thanksgiving on, Disney Hollywood Studios has the Osborne Spectacle of Dancing Lights, which also include some smaller light displays such as angels, toy soldiers, etc. that can be used as props. At Epcot they put up a canopy between Future World and World Showcase that has tons of lights - and there is always the HUGE tree to use as background too. |

| For our christmas card last year we used a standard shot. I got the CD and then went to WalMart and had some great frames added to the pictures. We were lucky enough to get a really good photographer though and he took boat loads of time with us to get the best pictures. Another year we were there early Nov. and used the caroling statue mentioned above. The problem is that there aren't many places that "say" christmas at Disney unless it is near to the holiday season. some ideas are : 1) take some santa hat along and use them as props in the ride photos. I saw one of a family on Splash Mountain all in santa hats. It was really cute. 2) the tree in the christmas shop at either DTD or on New Orleans Square in MK. It's kind of funny to see you inshorts at christmas time, so that one could be fun. 3) the sleigh at winter summer and could be construed as Santa's sleigh. It too may work. What ever you decide to use, good luck and just have lots of fun.

| I'm pretty sure they do. Justin_Skinner has night shots in front of Cindy's place. You were probably just dazzled by the fireworks... LOL.

| I just went digging through my photo CDs for some shots. Most were taken over the holidays, but I found the holiday type props that are on display year round. We took this photo in December 2005 and then used it for our Christmas card 2006. You could do this at any time if you just slapped a Christmas hat on Walt's head. Located in the Studios - not far from Indiana Jones - same side of 'street' as Sounds Dangerous. ![]() This snowman is in the Studios year round. I want to say that it is on Commissary Lane or maybe somewhere around the Streets of America. I'm having trouble placing it, at the moment. ![]() I'm pretty sure the Narnia set is still there too. DS thought it was funny to pretend to be shivering. Located in the Studios on Mickey Avenue ![]() Then in the Marketplace of DTD. Near the 12 Days of Christmas shop, I think. This is set up year round, as well. As you can see, DS likes to stage this one like he is reading over Mickey & Donald's shoulders August 2006 (DNephew & DS) ![]() December 2005 ![]() Hope this helps!! Have fun!
