WDW Christmas Pictures

Hi to all! I was wondering if anyone had any cute ideas for a picture that we could take of our family while at WDW to use on our yearly Christmas Card? I know we could just take the "standard pictures" but do you have any cute sayings to go under the "usual" picture (eg the castle, the fam with Mickey, etc.) Thanks a million and have a magical day

I had to jump in on this thread, I am hoping to get some ideas too. I was thinking of the Christmas Store over in Epcot. Seems they would have some good props? Maybe, huh?

The BB one would be cute with your swimsuits and the Santa hats!

With a "standard" pic like the castle, you could always write - "Have a Magical Christmas/Holiday!"

At WinterSummerland Mini Golf one year Kelsey and I got in the sleigh they have and a cm took our picture and that was our card that year. I don't know what we will do this year. We took pictures outside of the christmas store in DTD last year but didn't use them.

I like the idea of both the Christmas shop at Downtown Disney and Winter Summerland. Also, how about somewhere in Norway at Epcot - that could provide some good backdrops.

The gingerbread house at GF is a great backdrop -- tell your friends it's your new vacation home!
DD loves the tree at DTD that's decorated with toys.
There's also the "statue" (for lack of a better word) by the DTD bus stop -- we always get a picture of DD caroling with the characters.
The Mickey-eared-Santa-hats turn anything into a great Christmas picture

In '06, my boys posed with Christmas Mouse Ears in front of the fireplace in the Christmas Store in MK. Those same type of ears were long sold out by the time I got to WDW in Dec '07 - gone by early Nov I was told. I'm a little bit of a crazy person when it comes to picture taking. I dressed my boys in red and/or green on most days of the vacation just because it was Xmas Time. I got so many AMAZING pictures of the boys all over the place - to name a few: the sleigh outside the Christmas Store with the castle as a backdrop, Cinderella before our CRT dinner with her Xmas tree on the left of the shot, Mickey at 'Ohana in a red hawaiian shirt and my boys wearing red and green polos, the boys on the wooden bridge in the decorated lobby of WL, the boys on the lake side of the World Showcase outside of Germany in front of trees and wooden soldiers, and the boys sitting in Italy in front of big poinsettia plants.

We were returning from our trip on the evening of Dec. 15th '07, so I bought photo frame cards and had them addressed and stamped before we left. When we got home, all I had to do was print up the pics, stuff and mail. I couldn't decide on one shot so I ended up sending out 8 different cards!

How silly of me! I almost forgot Santa Goofy at Camp Minnie Mickey at AK
And Mickey in his holiday sweater.
I like the character-themed trees at CMM too.

Are there any of these "props" set up year round? We are traveling to WDW during "non-christmas" time (the end of September) but it is so close to Christmas it would be great to get photo's for Christmas cards.

We went in Sept in 06 and at DTD they had a christmas display. We took pictures and used them for our Christmas cards. I am not sure exactly where in DTD it was, but I am sure someone here will know.

We used that also. If I remember correctly it was right there as you walked in after being dropped off from the resort buses marketplace side - off to the left behind the building.
