Question

Hi everyone, I'm new here! This is my first post Since Disney has bought back the Disney Stores, do we know what kind of perks the employees will have? My daughter would like to apply if some of the old perks would be available again (room discounts, free tickets...).

Thnks so much!

The two stores in San Francisco will be closed next month.

What a sad state of affairs.

I work Part Time at the Disney Store in Cherry Hill, NJ. We have not been advised about perks yet. The rumor is that the benefits will be the same as before, i.e, 50% off of hotels, 20% off of sit-down restaurants, and 20% off of souvenirs, in addition to 2 free tickets in June and 2 free tickets in December. But this has not been confirmed. We get 35% off at the store for now, but that may change also. This is for PT and FT. They also have perdiem employees, not sure what they will get.

The one closest to me in Parma Ohio (3 min away) is closing and the signs have been up for about 10 days now. On the list as closing is the North Olmsted Ohio store and they said they are definately staying open and they are only about 15min. away so while not happy I can definately live with it.

I was so bummed when I saw that our store was on the closing list. DH and I went to Montgomeryville Mall today and it is staying open! I am so excited.

I just found out the one in Poughkeepsie Galleria in NY and the Danbury Mall one in CT are closing
If I need a Disney fix I have to drive almost an hour away to the Palisades Mall.

Hi the Disney Company is in a hiring freeze until the New Year. The perks are 20-% off merchandise and food at the parks. No discounts on tickets or rooms as of now.

I call the cast line the stated 20 % off food and merchandise. No discount on tickets or rooms is what they are told as of now. But the lady I spoke to said this may change.

Hope that helps. Don't promise I didn' miss one....the type is tiny and it's listed by store number......

Thank you thank you thank you. Doesn't matter how many times I tried, I wasn't able to figure out how to open the list.

My Disney Store in Crestwood Missouri, will be closing in 7 more days....what will I do? The castmember, who has worked there for the last 13 years, told me, they were closing stores that had leases that were easy to break. All of the stores in St. Louis are closing!!!!!

For those like me who were having trouble following the instructions to see the list: I found a different set of instructions elsewhere, and these worked better for me. Go to Docket
and click on "Change Client" in the upper-left corner. Click on the "Hoop" name in the Hs of the list that pops up. You'll get to the same sort of screen I kept getting when I clicked on the links in earlier threads, but this time when you type 91 in the docket # field, it pulls up the correct info.on the right hand side, Exhibit B (part 2) and (part 3) are what you are looking for. On the right-hand side, click on the "Images" link to get a list of possible documents to view. Exhibit B, part 3, has the list of potentially closing stores starting on page 39. Exhibit B, part 2 (at the bottom of the list of documents) has the list of potentially safe stores starting on page 37.

Luckily, my Opry Mills store is on the safe list, so hopefully I'm okay!
