| Pearls and Charms Hi everyone! I have two questions. 1. When we went to WDW in 2006 my daughter opened an oyster in the department store in Japan at the World Showcase and got a beautiful pearl. We chose not to have it mounted on anything as we were leaving for home the next day. Well, two years later we still have the loose pearl and we will be returning to WDW for her birthday in September. I would love to take the pearl and have a piece of jewelry made for her as a birthday gift. Can I do this or will they only sell the mountings and mount the pearls right after you open them? 2. I am wondering about the little cloissone charms with the clasps for the charm bracelets. We have several that I would like to attach to a charm bracelet for our vacation, but I would like to know how well they stand up to the elements? Do they tarnish easily? Anyone out there have any experience with the longevity of these little buggers? Thanks for your feedback! ![]() Staci

| Can't say about the pearls, but I have several of the charms and a bracelet. I wear it often and they still look as nice today as when I bought them back in 2004 & 2006. As I'm an adult, I had to get a new braclet at Hobby Lobby (The one from Disney was a little tight around the wrist for my taste), but my charms shine like the day they were bought. I guess I would have to say that you must be careful with them though. They tend to get cought on a lot of thing, but so do most any charms.

| My daughter and I both have many of the charms and they hold up very well! I even have a couple hanging from my cell phone and it looks great. The only thing we noticed is that the one for the Contemporary has the writing and picture kind of embossed on it and it seems to have somewhat rubbed off. That is the only one we have ever had trouble with!
