Tours! Which ones? Which tours at WDW have you tried? Or, which are you wanting to try? I am a single mom and my son is only 9 years old. So, I haven't been on any tours yet. I think we will do the Behind the Seeds tour at the Land ride this next trip. Then, in June, we'll go back and my son will have just turned 10, so we can do the Trains tour at the MK! Has anyone been on these or others? [ 02-21-2002, 10:07 PM: Message edited by: michnash ]

Re: Tours! Which ones? I've been on the Backstage magic tour, which is an all day tour, and maybe a little too long for kids. I loved it, though, would do it again in a heartbeat. I have always wanted to do the Behind the Seeds tour..I love "The Land" and thought that would be cool. Let us know how it was if you decide to take it. Sue

Re: Tours! Which ones? Thanks, I will let you know about Behind the Seeds! I would love to do the Backstage- especially at Animal Kingdom- but with the age restrictions, my son isn't old enough yet! Someday!!

Re: Tours! Which ones? My husband and I did the Inside Animation tour in January and were horribly disappointed. It consisted of a walking tour where our guide pointed out various facades in MGM having to do with Walt Disney's life and then we were put in shuttle vans and taken our to the DI where we each painted a cel of Mickey mouse and watched a brief progression reel from Tarzan. Then hopped in the van and went back to MGM. That was IT. We never even went into the Animation Studios or met any animators on the tour. We felt seriously ripped off considering that we used two of our Magical Wishes that we could have used for dinner at the Brown Derby or something. I have heard reports of older versions of this tour that did go into the Animation studios, which makes me even more upset. Save your money or you magical wishes and you'll learn more at the Magic of Disney Animation attraction. Steph

Re: Tours! Which ones? We did the train tour last March and it was brilliant . It is an early start but wll worth it. Probably one of the best tours we have done - but I don't know what the age limits are.

Re: Tours! Which ones? Thanks! I just called about the Steam Train tour and the youngest age allowed is 10. My son will be 10 in May, so we can do this tour on our June trip. I will book it soon! I did book the Family Magic tour at MK for this March trip. It sounds fun!
