Promotions I have a question. I get promotions all the time offering me 5 days 4 nights for $99 per person or something like that for Florida. The idea is that for 2 people you would pay $198 plus tax to stay for this length of time at the hotel. They also offer you 2 - 3 days of park passes to whichever parks you choose. You have to pay for your own travel arrangements. I am curious, has anyone out there ever brought one of these and if so how was it.

Re: Promotions Don't do it. Remember the old adage: If it sounds too good to be true...it is. The only time something like that MAY be worth it, is if it is connected to a timeshare sales promotion. You'd have to listen to a 90 minute spiel about a timeshare for the good deal. And most people are not willing to do this without good incentive, thus the cheap hotel rate. You will likely not know where you are staying until you get there though, and that is also a downside to this type of deal. -HiddenMickey

Re: Promotions Ursunique, We did one that was involved with a timeshare to add on to our Disney trip last year. They put us in the Howard Jouhnson Suites, which were nice. They were on International Drive. The company is called Fairfield Getaways and is part of the Cendant family. They have one right now for 4 days/3 nights for $89. This is for 2 adults and two children. You also get passes to Universal. If you are going to go this route I would recommend them. The down side is that you do have to do there tour I think it took less than 90 mins. But after reading your trip report I see that that won't bother you.
