| Re: Parades and fireworks For your age kids, all the parades and fireworks are worth it. MK- we try to see both the afternoon and evening parade in Liberty Sq or Frontierland by Splash Mtn because you can get a space later than on Main St. Check to see which direction the parade is going(Main st>Frontierland or the reverse)this will tell you when to try to get a spot. CM will know. You can see fireworks at MK from anywhere, but if you want to see tinks flight, tommorland near the plaza pavillion is good spot. I like seeing the fireworks from behind the castle by Haunted Mansion. MGM Stars and Motor cars is fun and we saw it by Star Tours which is the end of the parade. Fantasmic is wonderful and I did the dinner pkg and seats are on the right, but just fine. I couldn't think of waiting 2 hr in an outdoor stadium with kids. Epcot- Illuminations is wonderful and we try to be between Canada and UK so we can exit by International gateway after. AK- have not seen the parade hear. Sorry Connears have fun |

| Re: Parades and fireworks Hi and welcome to the boards! I would aim to see all the parades, they're all great and the fireworks are out of this world. For Illuminations, our new favourite spot to watch it is in front of Italy. For the MK fireworks, my advice would be don't stand just in front of the castle, as you don't see them all. We made that mistake on our honeymoon. We don't have any particular favourite places to watch any of the parades, we normally grab any space and it works fine! As for 4 July, I would imagine the fireworks at both MK and Epcot will be amazing. During MVMCP, they had fireworks going all round the lagoon (best seen from the beach of the Poly) and we watched Illuminations on New Year's Eve - I have never seen fireworks like it! I'd personally go for Epcot on 4 July, as even when the park's full, it doesn't feel as crowded as MK does. Cheryl |

I would definitely try to take in the parades and fireworks. I've never been with children, but I have sat near others and they are just enchanted with it all. I would try to catch the MK parades from in front of the Hall of Presidents which is a pretty good spot, or along the curb by the hub right across from the Liberty Square bridge. Both of those spots give you a good view and then you don't have far to get to Main Street to watch the fireworks. |

| Parades and fireworks Hello everyone. This is my first time posting a message. I will be visiting WDW from June 26 to July 6 with my wife and two children (both boys 8 and 10 Yrs old), I was wondering if the parades and/or fireworks are worth watching? We are staying at the CBR and I was wondering if we could see the fireworks from there? Lastly (for today anyway) Which display should we try to see on July 4th? Thanks for all your help, and I am sure I'll be on with many more questions. |
