Goofy Weekends at the DS

Went to the DS yesterday in Tulsa and they had a new promotion called Goofy Weeekends. 15% off of everything in the store! Everything I said. She said everything except movie/DVDs and oh yeah Park Passes (Rats!!!! I was ready to whip out that credit card!)

Anyway they had all their character T-Shirts for 7.99 if you bought two or more. The girls each got a different Princess Ballet(aren't these just the cutest!)shirt and we got DS the new Buzz All American Hero Shirt. This is a great shirt with the American Flag waving behind Buzz. The CM said they just got a bunch in and they only had about ten left. The sizing of the shirts was really big too. My 12yo(almost 13, mom!) could easily wear a 10/12.

Can't wait to get to the World! Only 75 days to go!

Have fun shopping,
SleepingB

Re: Goofy Weekends at the DS

The DisneyStore.com is also running Goofy Weekends too. It seems that every day is a different promotion:

Mickey Mondays
Tarzan Tuesdays
Wish Wednesday
TIggeriffic Thursdays
Fairtale Fridays
Goofy Weekends

My Dh actually told me about the sale at the store as his co-worker came back with a great discounted doll. He actually told me to check it out!! LOL If you knew how much $$ I spend at TDS, you too would be laughing at my DH actually telling me to go shopping there! ROFL

Val (who will be visiting her local TDS this week!)

Re: Goofy Weekends at the DS

Ok, here's an update on the Disney Store sales.

As SleepingB mentioned, there are Goofy Weekends which gives you 15% off everything but the big items like she mentioned.

Mickey Mondays are $5 off on a $10 purchase.

Tarzan Tuesdays - 10% off boys' stuff

Wish Wednesday - I went today and certain items (some clothing, some dressup items, some Little Princess dolls, etc) were $5.00. There were a few items that were $5 with a $25 purchase. Last week the Barbie-type Princess dolls (11-1/2" dolls) were $5.00! That's a good deal. Unfortunately, they were regular price today LOL

I overheard that Tiggerific Thursday is supposed to be, I think, a free gift ??

And Fairytale Friday, 10% off girls' stuff. I've been checking online first to see if it's worth checking the store out in person LOL

Re: Goofy Weekends at the DS

Just to clarify.Goofy Weekend's is not 15% off the entire store every weekend. Goofy Weekends will be different every weekend. The 15%off applied to last weekend and will be different for this weekend.
