Re: Disney Florist I don't know about the baskets, buy DH Joseph had a vase of roses sent to me on our anniversary from them and they were spectacularly beautiful - as was the vase We checked in that day and while they weren't in our room as soon as we got there, we left for a very short time to get something to eat and they were there when we returned. A wonderful surprise!

Re: Disney Florist My brother-in-law sent us a basket through Disney Florist for helping him out with some babysitting and it was really well done & such a nice surprise. This was a wine-themed basket with a nice bottle of wine, corkscrew etc, snacks, cookies, the works. And two very nice glass Mickey wine glasses that made for a great keepsake. It actually did arrive the first night we were there, around 7pm a CM delivered it to our room. Sorry I couldn't help with the sending info, but I would definitely recommend their baskets, and wanted to let you know that it does seem possible to get it delivered the first night unless they've changed their policy since September.

Re: Disney Florist When my DD graduated from college, she and I took a trip alone since she was getting ready to leave for a year's service with the AmeriCorps. I called the florist and wanted something that would also be something she could use during her year away, besides the "junk food" in the item. They put together an insulated six pack bag, with the goodies, balloons, and 2 cokes. The bag was great and I believe she's been using it since 1996.

Re: Disney Florist I have ordered several items from the WDW florist with great luck! I wanted something special for each member of the family on one trip so ordered a Mickeys Kool Snack for each of the boys. A floral arrangement for my Mom in a Mickey cookie Jar she could keep. And a basket with champagne, Mickey champagne flutes, and assorted goodies for DW & myself. They won't be in your room when you check in because there is no guarantee what your room will be until you actully arrival. We checked in fairly early, then went to the parks. By the time we got back they were waiting for us in the room. No one knew I had done this so it was a nice surprise! The prices are a bit high, but for once in a while it's a nice bit of MAGIC! Have Fun!!! Tim

Re: Disney Florist Thanks for this thread. I bookmarked the site and think I'll do something like Tim did for the kids, and of course the wine for the wife and I this summer.

Re: Disney Florist Veronica, You shouldn't have any problem if you wait a bit before you order. They are VERY quick and normally have no problem doing last minute items. But if you do order last minute be flexable...even Disney runs out of things now & then! Tim
