| Souveneirs I want to bring something back for our neighbor that will be keeping an eye on our house and watering the plants, and picking up our mail (really great neighbor!) Last year we brought back some Mickey coffee for someone and I thought that might be nice, but we want to bring him, and his mom, back something special. They are not Disney fanatics, and are older so they don't want trinkets. Any ideas on a nice thank you present to bring back? We also want to buy souveneirs for the kids, but they have expensive taste! Does anyone know of a place in WDW, where we can get some nice souveneirs for them, that wont break the bank? (We do the pressed coins and they like to pick up napkins and other things around the parks and resorts, so that is something we will definitely be doing) Thanks!!!

| There is a lot of things to choose from in the shops at Epcot in World Showcase that are nice and not 'Disney'. You know best what would fit in with their decor... That also gives you a good excuse to check them all out! We had the boys each choose one hat and we also got more trading / collecting pins.

| What about one of the lovely ornaments from Germany, or some blown glass from Italy? Eileen

| Last time I picked up a travel mug for my cousin who was house/pet sitting for me. I figured it was something he could get a lot of use out of driving to work in the mornings. It had the 2007 logo on it, Disney-esque but not over the top. He was very surprised and loved it. |

| I like the Epcot ideas. There are so many things to choose from, I guess we will just peek in all the stores and when we see that special something, we will know it! Thanks everyone. As far as the kids go, we will probably go with giving them their own Disney Dollars and let them do as they please with them. I know it will work fine with my oldest daughter, but we will see how my younger daughter does. Thanks for all the help!

| We got a friend of ours the Winnie the Pooh pasta and she loved it!! She didn't need any more kitch to clutter up her house, but this was a cute practical item that just let her know we were thinking of her (and quite tasty too apparently).

| Janet, I did the same thing. It kept DD from annoying the heck out of me with "can I have that". My response was always, "sure, its your money to spend however you want." Drove her absolutely nuts :-) And funny how those little nothings that cost $10.00 each lost their appeal for her. She had to think about what she really wanted, and came home with some nice souveniers. pt |

| One year, I bought a disney bowl and went around the countries in Epcot - buying different kinds of chocolates/candies to fill it up. This was a gift for our housesitter. It was a touch of disney, but also some delicious snacks. I have also done the bowl with candies and Mickey pretzels/cookies. Other gifts have been - Dpen, tea cup & tea, coffe cup & coffee, Ghiradelli chocolates (especially the ones on sale).... Have fun shopping!
