Cool Dude Package at Bippity Boppity

I just booked for our 5 year old girl and the CM told me about the cool dude pacakge for our 7 year old boy. Does anyone have pictures of what the boys look like after? I read that they use glitter in the gel- I am hoping to get an idea of what that looks like because if it's too much, he won't like it at all. Also, did you dress your boys in any costumes?

Thanks!
Mel

My brother was 12 when he got it, and was jazzed because he got to have cool colors in his hair (I wasn't too keen on the confetti, thought that was a little much)... pics are a bit bigger than what this board allows which is why I'm givin ya the links

I think it's worth it for a bit of fun, the kid gets a say in how his hair looks, my brother went for a very understated look compared to some I've seen.

I've said it here before - my advice is to avoid it. My son was 7 when my wife set him up for the "Cool Dude" while my 5 y.o. daughter got the Princess treatment. He was SOOOOO Embarassed to be the ONLY boy in the entire place. The CM was terrific and tried to talk football with him but it was just a really bad scene. Try the Barber Shop on Main Street at MK and get them to put some gel in if you want a special effect that doesn't cause problems. Again, my opinion having been the Dad there watching the disaster unfold.......

Cool Dude

My daughter went last November to BBB and while there my 6 year DS realized they did boys and he wanted to go to. He loved it. He got fuzzed over like the girls and his hair spiked and colored with confetti and Mickey on the back. It only cost me $7.50 and he was thilled.

My son had the best time in January-his hair got gelled every color of the rainbow and he had a yellow, blue, and red mickey head on the back of his hair. It cost $7.50 and was worth every penny.

He also got mickey-shaped confetti in his hair. I'd do it for your son at least once.

Mine loved it so much he doesn't know he's getting a repeat if we're lucky enough to keep our trip in December!!

If you don't think your son will enter BBB, take him to the Barbershop. They will do him up just fine there! And, it's a bit more "manly."
