| Countdown Calendar! I'm quite pleased at the way our countdown calendar turned out! We went to a scrapbook store(BEST store in all of TX IMHO)where I've been buying up a lot of really cute WDW die cuts and stickers! We decided to buy a pack of die cuts that spell out "Magic Kingdom" and then have Pooh, Peter Pan, Mickey, Ariel, Dumbo, and Goofy to pose around it. It took FOREVER to cut all of the character pieces out, but once we placed it on thick poster board, took some purple cardstock and post it notes to make up a "pull off the number" type calendar it looks GREAT! We've placed it on the dining room wall where we're now counting down from 58 days! Each day we pull off a post it note with a number on it. We've placed a different Disney sticker underneath along with things we need to do that day. It was an inexpensive and yet very cute way to countdown. I took a picture of it cause we were stunned it turned out so well. I'll be sure to put it in my "getting ready" portion of the scrapbook I'll be making. I'll include it on my trip report as well. |

| Re: Countdown Calendar! Sounds like your countdown calendar really came out cute! I made them also for holiday gifts for the grandkids to countdown our trip with just 16 days to go now!! I bought a Disney calendar and made my own stickers with how many days to go on each sticker. It was quite a project, but the kids love them. So does my son in law who immediately started putting stickers on the calendar all at one time. We had to take it from him and explain how "THE KIDS" were to do it. (They, of course, are doing it the right way.) 16 Days - but, who's counting?
