| Mickey\'s not so very scary? Ok we got tickets to this, Sunday October 5, and now are trying to decide if we should make a dinner reservation and visit MK that day or if we should visit another park say eat dinner at Chef Mickey's and then enter the park. Also we were told that you are given a trick or treat bag when you enter and if we have dinner reservation we were told that you don't have to leave the park but how do you get the bag? Also what are decorations like? Thanks Karen Here is what I have for a trip schedule: We are driving: October 2 Thursday Arrive midday, check in, get passes and go to water park October 3 Friday Don't know October 4 Sat Breakfast at Resturantosuars and Animal Kingdom October 5 Sun Mickey's not so very scary 7pm- midnight ?dinner at Liberty Tree? October 6 Monday Sleep late to recover from not so scarry ?park? October 7 tue ? October 8 Tuesday ? October 9 Wednesday ? Oct 10 Thurs checkout and visit one last park- maybe downtown Disney start drive home |

| Re: Mickey\'s not so very scary? So far your itinerary looks wide open and relaxed. I'm sure it won't be that open for long though. This will be the 3rd year I've gone to MNSSHP and I usually spend the morning to early afternoon in a different park, have dinner outside of the MK. I wouldn't worry about picking up trick or treat bags as I believe you can go to guest services and explain that you had dinner in the MK and missed "re-entry." I mainly like to enter at the appointed time so that I can get dressed in costume without spending the entire day dressed or having to eat my dinner in costume. My costumes have not been elaborate mind you, but it is just a personal preference. It is a great event. Watch for the ride of the Headless Horseman and be sure to catch the story telling in the Hall of Presidents area. My fiance loved being able to ride Space Mountain three consecutive times without waiting more than a minute or so. |
