| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD We saw it for the second time this weekend (DD's first viewing) and after seeing it again....I have to say, I'm not sure I'll buy it right away. It was one of those 'been there, done that' type moments for me. Plus the audience this time was a dud...just didn't get a lot of the humor (at least there was very little outward laughter). I might decide to get it when BlockBuster puts it on their Previously Viewed sales table. -HiddenMickey |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD Yeah, it really has been in theatres for a long time now. I saw it on the Disney Magic cruise and that was pretty cool. Its not a movie i'd probably watch every day, but I want to have it as part of my dvd collection. |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD I can't wait for this to come to DVD. I loved the movie and can't wait for all the extra features - especially the bloopers - I bet they're great. I don't know when I'm going to get it thought - I leave for Disney on December 2nd. I think I might just ask for it for Christmas and then I won't have to worry about it. | Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD Awesome, but where is the life-sized lithograph of Johnny Depp I was hoping for? |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD I can't wait to get it on DVD! I saw it three times at the theater (so far) and my son loved it, too. I love all the extra features! I wish I didn't have to wait until December for it. |

A movie with something for everyone: great swordfights (I love swashbuckling), humor, and eyecandy for both genders. And DS decided to brave the skeletons -- and beat them. (He likes to destroy his fears; now if we could just get the light out at bedtime ) And did I say: Johnny Depp? | |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD I wish the disneystore would offer some incentive for pre-ordering it with them, like a poster, or pin or something. Oh well, $19.99 isn't bad. -Steph |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD Quote from Stephanie S. -------I wish the disneystore would offer some incentive for pre-ordering it with them, like a poster, or pin or something. ------------------------------------------- Maybe the DS could throw in a life-size poster of Johnny Depp as Capt Jack Sparrow! That would certainly boost sales for them! |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD I am unpreportionatly excitedly!!! The first time I saw the trailer for POTC I was at the Downtown disney theater. It was just the teaser trailer(last dec.) but at the end the entire audience started to cheer! When I finally got to see it, it was like my trip never ended. I've seen it twice, can't wait for the DVD, and I wish they would inclose a lifesize poster of Orlando Bloom. Marty Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for Me! |

| Re: Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD Thanks for the headz up! Definitely will be adding this to our DVD collection! Funny story: DH and I went to see Pirates the first weekend it opened and we were sitting behind two ladies who were discussing what the movie was about prior to it starting....and I quote: Lady #1: "So, what's this movie about?" Lady #2: "I'm not really sure, I didn't read the book!" DH and I were in tears holding back laughter! I don't think half the audience got any of the jokes! We felt like we were the only one's laughing in the whole theatre! |
