| Thinking of using Memories by Betsy... As the title says I'm thinking of using Memories by Betsy to have a gift basket made for my mom. I could use some suggestions on what to include. I don't want to spend alot of money on it and if I was going to have a few days before my mom arrived I would put it together myself instead. However I'm arriving at MCO 24 hours before my mom will arrive so I just won't have the time to put it together. What I've thought of so far is an ASMu refillable mug for her to use during her visit, a water bottle lanyard, and a first visit button (assuming Betsy has them or can get them). So, any other ideas for what the basket should include? It can't be anything big because she's planning on doing carry-on only since she'll only be there for 4 nights. Oh and am I the only one that doesn't like the idea of having to give her your confirmation number? That's my only hang up about doing this is that I'll have to give her my confirmation number and my phone number which means in theory she'd be able to make major changes to my trip. Hmmm, maybe I'll re-activate my Trac phone and give her that number and I can give her the email address I use for shopping online instead of the one I use for Disney. That would be provide some protection. I know. I know. I'm being paranoid. |

| I Memories by Betsy and have used her about 5 times already . . . . She's made baskets for my DH, our friends, and my nephew on a bunch of different trips and the baskets have been great every time . . . . If you give her an idea of budget and your mom's personality or likes - she will suggest some things and you can chose from that, rather than you having to think of items yourself. . . . As far as giving her your confirmation number

| I'm not sure how to describe my mom's personality. I've honestly never thought about it. Now if we were talking about my mom's older sister it would be easy as we're very much alike. I know she has alot of happy customers here on PP. I just tend to treat my confirmation nrmber the same way I do my social security number which means I don't like giving it out unless I absolutely have to. | I know Betsy can do it w/o the confirmation number. I had a non-Disney confirmation number for my brother's room (it was a travel agent conf. number, not the official Disney one), and since it was a surprise for him, I couldn't exactly ask him for the official number w/o a reason why!!!! So I gave her what I had, and it was enough. She had my phone number if there were any problems, so I guess that was good enough. Does your mom have a favorite character? Maybe Betsy could find a pin or keychain with that. Mickey head earrings? Those are small and not too expensive (about $12, I belive). Give her a call/email and she'll have some ideas. Good luck!!!

| My mom had a grumpy basket made for me for my birthday in May. It was beautiful and a great surprise. My mom said she was very nice and easy to work with. Maybe you could have a set of mickey ears for your mom in there?

| Okay. Between looking at Betsy's site and the ideas posted here; my ideas so far are: DW tote bag, ASMu refillable mug, waterbottle lanyard, 1st visit button, keychain, and perhaps a picture frame for a picture of the two us taken in one of the parks. I like the idea of ears especially if I got us matching ears but since my mom is planning to go carry on I'm worried they would be too bulky. |

| I believe at least the make your own ears the ears come off so they can be stored easier. Might be worth asking Betsey if she got ears if they would have the removable ears.

| I have used her once this past Sept/Oct trip and we loved it! I had her make a basket for our little girl. She was 6 months then but it was more for me and DH! Very professional and always responded back to my e-mails quickly. Good luck!

| I ordered a basket for my dsis for this upcoming trip. She is very easy to work with and I never gave it a second thought to give her my confirmation number or cell number. Good luck on whatever you decide. |

| I just placed an order for a birthday basket for my girls for our trip in January. She has been great to deal with, and she had some really good suggestions. I can't wait to see their faces when we arrive.
