Favorite Disney Song

What's your favorite Disney song?

Mine is "Let's go fly a kite" from Mary Poppins. It's so catchy!

Even though the Little Mermaid isn't my favorite Disney movie, I'd have to say Part of Your World is one of my favorite songs. Either that, or Circle of Life from the Lion King.

I would say the Wishes song, from the fireworks show of the same name is my favorite from the parks.

It is hard to settle on a favorite for me. My daughter (15) and I play piano and play so many songs together - it makes it really special. We just scored a new Disney songbook and it has Promise from Illuminations in it - that is our new favorite to play.

Great thread - it really makes me realize how much a part of the experience from the parks, rides and movies that the music is!!

My favourite is not really a song - it's the IllumiNations music, as it reminds me of magical nights in Epcot.

Mine is "You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan ... and it's only because of that show Tarzan Rocks that used to be at AK!

I had never seen that movie and then when we went to see that show I really enjoyed the music. That led me to buy the soundtrack from the film.

And ... once I realized it was a Phil Collins song, it all made sense ... I wanted to *be* Phil when I was a kid.

Unfortunately, the closest I came to being Phil was that we're both "brothers of the scalp." (i.e. Bald!)

Anyway ... I really like that song!

In a movie - Colors of the Wind, the Judy Kuhn version. I almost always prefer the version of the songs in the movie vs the pop version.
On Broadway - Endless Night, from TLK
In the parks - Fantasmic music

. Then walking around WS listening to the Christmas music as the park empties. By the end it's like we're the only ones there

No questions asked "Part of Your World" from Little Mermaid. Then again, Ariel is my life. Still My second favorite is "A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes" from Cinderella. I was singing that yesterday and getting it stuck in my mom's head

From a ride I'd be tossed between Yo Ho from POTC and It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from COP. They both get stuck in my head on like... a daily basis.
