| Christmas Carol Train Tour... is coming to Phila next Tuesday. has anybody gone to see this? is it worth the trip? Would like to go, but just wondering if it's worth the hassle to take DS4 and DS6 into downtown Philly! |

| I have a bunch of photos Disney sent me here: A Christmas Carol Train Tour Event Photocall and New Photos of Train Interior | StitchKingdom.com it's coming into NYC (its final stop) next week. I just got notification I'll be covering the event with Jim Carrey and Robert Zemeckis (if I can manage to wake up in time)

| I saw it here in Albany about a month ago. I enjoyed it and thankfully only had about a 45 min wait. Talking to one of the CMs working the train, they said wait times were up to 6 hours in some big cities like LA and Denver. So, my advice is, get there early! These are some pictures that I took of the train tour. Disney's A Christmas Carol Train Tour - a set on Flickr

| I went when the train came to Cleveland. I hate driving into the city and no one could go with me on either of the days it was in town so I ended up going by myself and I was glad I went. It was very fun. I went late afternoon and there was no line. The train had many cars. The first two cars had memorabilia from the Dickens museum in England. It was amazing to look at his works and realze he wrote these things (I admit I am a museum geek). Then came a couple cars dedicated to the actors and the movie. There were portraits of the characters, models, and flat screen tvs showing scenes from the movie. There was a train car that showed how they did some of the awesome effects in the movie. Next was two cars that allowed you to morph your image into different characters in the film. This was fun to do and you email the picture to yourself (via Walmart photo center). The last train car had real Christmas carolers!! Once I left the train there was an area that had contests, coloring pictures, word searches, etc. This was sponsored by Radio Disney so I am not sure if all cities will have the same. There was also a theatre where you could see a preview of the movie in 3D. I thought it was a fun experience and was glad I went.

| Just went today and we had a great time! My teenagers definitely were some of the oldest kids there and they found lots of ways to amuse themselves, but I'm not sure it's really designed for the little ones. Lots of displays and educational parts (with lots of do not touch signs) inside the first couple of train cars. The part where you morph your face into the characters is pretty amusing! And the movie preview is fun, but ghosts are a little creepy if your little ones scare easily. I'm not trying to talk you out of it, because it definitely gave me a good Disney fix, but I wanted you to know what to expect.
