Question Make your own button? Help!

I am sooo not the crafty type! I was not born with the craft gene! I've gone for maybe a day or two here not thinking of Disney (my DH even said to me last night... what's wrong with you? you seem to have lost the Disney planning craze mode!) Well, I'm back at it! We are celebrating our kiddos' adoption homecomings (family day) while at Disney and I woke up thinking... wouldn't it be cool to create our own buttons for them to wear at the parks? But... how do I do this? Help!

If you have a Michael's or Hobby Lobby near you, they often have a small kit to make buttons. Comes with a little press machine and the button backs, covers, and papers. Or (and this is what I would do) you could get a "Celebration" button at Disney and use a Sharpie to write what the celebration is.

Great ideas! I kind of like the idea of making our own so we can make it extra special. Thanks Pam!

you could also create your own on zazzle.com or other sites like this. There is no minimum order and you can upload a photo and enter your own text.

We did this!

We went to WDW this past spring to celebrate the end of DH's deployment to Afghanistan. DD5 came up with the idea of making "Welcome Home Dave" buttons (she got the idea when she came across her "Happy Birthday" button she'd received at WDW the previous year). We went online and found a site where there was no minimum to order. DD did the whole design herself. We uploaded our own photo/design, but they also had templates. We ordered a few extras (there are six of us, we ordered 10) in case one got lost. We got TONS of attention from people at WDW, both CMs and guests, asking about our special buttons. (Look at my sig pic, taken by a CM roaming MK handing out buttons) It made our WDW vacation even more magical! Have a great time, and let me know if you have any more questions!
