Opinions on the Family Magic Tour @MK

Hi everyone,
My DH & DS were going to do the EPCOT Seas AquaTour during our trip in Dec. DH & I have rethought that financially ($140/person). We are now considering the Magic Kingdom Family Magic Tour. DS is 9. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? TIA for your opinions.

We did this with our boys when they were about 8 & 12 years old. The whole family had a blast!

I did this with DS when he was 5. Even though he couldn't read the clues he had a fun time.

It's a great tour (I loved it! ), but DH was a stick-in-the-mud, thinking it was too corny. DS was 7 at the time and absolutely loved it, but DD was 11... she had fun when she finally decided to play along, but she started out with the "I'm too cool for this" attitude. So I would suggest considering your DS's personality! If he still likes to play along, definitely do the tour, but if he's starting to think he's too cool for kid-stuff, you may want to rethink.

We did it with kids aged 5, 10, 20 and 20 - they all thought it was fun.
The key is to play along, and let yourself go. If people won't, then it may not be as fun for you or them as it could be.

It's not something we'll probably do again, but it was certainly fun.

We're doing the Magical Milestones tour because we think DD is a bit old for the Family Magic Tour. You might want to consider it.
