| Looking for those large Disney Pencils.... you know the kind. The long 12 to 18 inch ones that are so thick that they come with their own sharpener. We bought one for Abby last year that she loves but she mentioned to me tonight that we didn't buy any this year when we went. I was thinking with Christmas coming, these pencils from Disney World would make a great and surprising stocking stuffer for her. I just don't want to sound like an idiot though calling Disney Merchandising and trying to describe it, especially since I don't know if they have them this year or what designs they might have. So for anyone going in the near future, would anyone be willing to maybe get me an item number or UPC code from them or maybe even pictures so at least I'd have an idea of what to tell them? And is the Disney merchandise number in the sticky the correct one (407-363-6200)?? It doesn't seem right for some reason and I'm afraid to admit I'm too lazy tonight to search for it elsewhere. TIA for anyone who's willing to help.

| I am going to our 99 cent store within the next couple of days and I will check the designs for you. I do not recall if they have the pencil sharpener or not on them. They are about 3/8 inch in diameter. Being they are not in a Disney store I doubt it will have a Disney merchandise number. I will check and also see about eraser designs and let you know. I will also check other Disney designs of stationery articles as I recall other Disney designs but never paid attention to what the items were. Stay tuned.......

| Darlene, I checked with our 99 cent store last night and they said that they have been out of these large Disney pencils for a few months. The only related items were regular size mechanical pencils and ball point pens in four packs (different princess designs) and a one pack with a princess. These have a clip type at the top for attaching to pockets. Similiar package designs were CARS stick pins, Pixar, Tinkerbell and Winnie the Pooh. They has a three pack Tinkerbell design roller marker. All were Disney and bar coded, but, no other merchandise numbering or identification. As I occasionally go by a couple of other 99 cent and dollar stores I will kept alert for them. It's one of those cases that they are around for a few years when you are not hunting for them, but, when you are you can't find them.

| Thanks so much for looking Papa Mouse. And you're 100% right that when you're not looking for them, you find them everywhere. When you do look, they're gone.
