Vow Renewal I am kicking around the idea of renewing our vows on this trip to the World. But when I look on the WDW website all it talks about is packages and are expensive. We already have our room and tickets are coming so I don't need a package deal. The flowers, cake and clergy is all we really need. I know you can expect to pay for the magic and that's expected but I don't want to spend a fortune either. There are so many other options to spend my money on while there, example all the PS to feed my poor hubby's tummy. ![]() So my question is-- Has anyone done this? Can you give me your experiences? Any feed back is appreciated. We are going to do the re-hitching ceremony but thought a renewal would be special. But then there is so much to work in on our trip already, can i fit it in. Between PS, shopping, Spa visit, shows and the parks I need more hours in the day. ![]() There is defineatly a lot of things to enjoy at the World. ![]() Marylee

Re: Vow Renewal hi Marylee!! ![]() Ben and I were talking about doing the same thing. So we ordered the free planning guide. It comes with a vhs tape and brochures. there are such things as add-ons. Since we're dvc we knew we wouldn't be needing rooms or even park tickets(APs). The add-ons, well I don't remember what they start at, but the CM had told me they just did one(this was last year) and the cost was $2500. I'd rather spend that money doing something else. But we're still considering it. If you want a Disney cake, you have to go with Fairytale Weddings, unfortunately, you cannot just get a cake. It's the one thing I really really want-- purple castle topped cake!! Hope this helps you. you can do to their website at Disney's Official Wedding site

Re: Vow Renewal Sorry you can't get your cake Wendy. That stinks. A Disney cake would be perfect. You would think they would make vow renewals a little easier to obtain. I am sure more would do them if they did. I agree I would want to spend $2500 else where on the trip. Marylee

Re: Vow Renewal I hope that info was helpful Lee. Who knows, if Ben and I remember it in Feb., we might just meet up with a disney wedding planner to discuss a vow renewal and not tell anybody in the family! Maybe then I could get my cake and eat it too! LOL!

Re: Vow Renewal Are you wanting to do like a real weeding thing or just something special that is similar? If you are just looking for something special to do for the 2 of you, have you thought of the re-hitching ceremony at Garden Grill. I have heard great things about it and its free, minus the cost of your meal! Good Luck with whatever you do!
