Gift Baskets

I would like to order a gift basket with snacks, etc. to be delivered to our room upon arrival in July. Has anyone done this in the past, and where do I call to get it arranged?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Gift Baskets

I've never done it but here is the link to the Walt Disney World Florist. They can take care of this for you: http://www.disneyflorist.com/

Have a great trip!

Re: Gift Baskets

I've only heard good things about the florist & baskets. We
started to do this last Christmas but they are a bit pricey.

Re: Gift Baskets

I've never ordered a gift basket but I have ordered flowers using the Disney Florist. They were delivered exactly as instructed and the flowers were beautiful. Their web site shows lots of great items and if you call you could probably customize your basket.

Re: Gift Baskets

Melissa, on my last trip to Disney I made my own up and shipped it via UPS a week before. I also made up goodie bags for all the kids (we had a Grand Gathering with my niece and nephews) and shipped that also. It was SO much cheaper than ordering from a place. I also remember reading about Gifts Of a Lifetime but they were a bit pricey also.

Good luck!

Re: Gift Baskets

Melissa,
I used Disney Florist for a snack/welcome basket in January and was very happy with them. It was a little pricey, but worth it and the children loved the Mickey themed treats. I did the basket with the mouse ears with it, but there is also a basket of just a mound of snacks, that was delivered to another room while we were there, and it looked great!

To be more precise, I ordered the Disney Welcome and saw the Disney Fun Tub from Disney Florist.

Re: Gift Baskets

We just came back from WDW on 5/30 and I had a snack basket from WDW Florist delivered to our room; I ordered online. I was looking for something that the whole family could enjoy but not break the bank and this seemed to fit the bill: http://www.disneyflorist.com/product.htm...index_id=custom

It came with a small but great Mickey collapsible cooler bag filled with 2 cokes, bags of munchies, candy bars, cookies - it had a lot more in there than I remembered it would. (I looked back at the description and just wanted to note that some of the items were different than listed, such as, we didn't get Crunch & Munch but I do remember a bag of Cheetos! LOL I guess you could call them if you had specific snacks in mind, but we were happy with their selection). And it was delivered promptly on the day I requested it.

Enjoy!

Re: Gift Baskets

I have an awesome gift box lined up for my Girls' Weekend in 3 weeks!! It's going to have 2 Hula Stitch plush characters and yummy gourmet snacks and candy. Her name is Peggy Kellogg and I found out about her on another board. She can send you a link her photos - over 100 of the candy creations she has done for people. She delivers for free to the resorts. Here is one of her pics that inspired me:

Re: Gift Baskets

Thanks for all the great ideas. I will probably end up calling WDW Florist to see what they can do. I like both of their snack baskets that I saw online. I knew I could count on someone out there having the answer.

Re: Gift Baskets

I forgot she has a website: http://www.peggyssweetsandmore.com/
Her prices seem very fair to me. My loaded large sized basket w/ 2 plush characters (small) came in at just under $100
