Re: What\'s up with the Hello Kitty version of the Disney characters?

I finally saw one of these Mickey's at Target yesterday on a folder. I don't really care for them.

Re: What\'s up with the Hello Kitty version of the Disney characters?

I didn't like them at all - and skipped right over the stuff at the Disney store last time I was at the mall.

Of course - Sarah saw the catalog last week - and she went NUTS! My pink and pretty little pre-teen (she'll turn 9 in 2 weeks!) who claims to have TOTALLY outgrown all the Disney princesses (except Jasmine - she'll never outgrow her!) - fell in love with these!

She is planning a huge remodelling project for 2 years from now when her sister goes away to college - she wants to move into her room (it's much bigger) and turn it into a girly girl room. She's got a whole photo album of paint samples and pictures and drawings of what it is going to look like - there are a lot of Disney paint chips and tiaras in there - but no princesses.

She now wants EVERY one of the "Cutie" Mickey items for the bedroom! She redid her whole book! Something tells me I've found the theme for her surprise birthday trip!

Of course - I don't like them at all - you don't mess with Walt's Mickey!

I love them too! I first saw them at the Disney store in Downtown Chicago and fell in love with them. My daughter now has a blanket, shirt, an apron and a few snowglobes. No there is no replacing the real Mickey..just a nice addition..I think anyways )

Don't really care for them.
Leave Mickey alone.
