Disney Sing-A-Long Question!

Hi!!!
We're planning a trip for December 2006. I've read several times that a good way to get my DS (age 3) ready for the characters and rides is to watch the sing-a-long tapes. I remember someone saying that their daughter knew the Pirates of the Caribbean song (Yo! Ho!) from one of the tapes, but I can't figure out which one it is...can anyone help?

Thanks!
~Kimber

Re: Disney Sing-A-Long Question!

My brother and I grew up LOVING Disneyland Fun. It's based on Disneyland, but it's still a great tape. It features the Haunted Mansion, Space Mansion, Splash Mountain, Dumbo, It's a Small World, etc.

Oh, I loved those sing-a-long tapes when my kids were little. I don't think we have the one with the pirate song, though. Oh, this brings back memories!!!!

We love, oh, I mean my girls love LOL the Singalong videos. I just checked them out and "A Pirate's Life" is on the Beach Party at WDW Singalong video.

Re: Disney Sing-A-Long Question!

There is also a sing a long CD. I bought mine at Walmart, but it's probably been a couple of years. There was a CD and a cassette in a plastic box about the size of a DVD box, with a booklet with the lyrics. I'm pretty sure it has the Pirates theme. I know it has Grim Grinning Ghosts because for a couple of hours I had my husband convinced I knew the lyrics.

Re: Disney Sing-A-Long Question!

In response to Val's post, A Pirate's Life is on the Beach Party video (live performers to the song from Peter Pan) and Yo Ho from Pirates of the Carribean is on the Hi-Ho Snow White Sing-A-Long. I admit, I just watched Beach Party last night. How addicted am I? We leave in 30 days - I can't help it!

Re: Disney Sing-A-Long Question!

Oops! I looked at my tape and saw "Pirate" and assumed that must be the one. But you're right, I can hear the pirates singing and Capt Hook looking the crew up and down; "Nice hat!" ROFL How sad that I'm quoting lines from it? LOL
