Best Surprises The past few days I've made a few upgrades to our trip (extended stay at BC and Wishes Cruise) but I've already spilled the beans. What are some of the best surprises you've pulled or read about. I'm trying to brainstorm some cool ideas.

Re: Best Surprises Our best surprise was just in Oct. when we pulled off a secret trip to DW without telling our 3 boys until we checked them out of school and were on our way to the airport!

Re: Best Surprises I think the best one I managed was last Christmas when I booked the Segway tour for us and only told Mark about it the day before - his face was a picture when he found out.

Re: Best Surprises My best kept secret was that we spent $300 more on the room at AKL than I originally said, but I don't think that's the kind of secret you're talking about.

Re: Best Surprises I'm in the process of pulling two surprises for our upcoming Xmas trip. The first is the Perfectly Princess Tea for our DD (she adores Aurora), and the other surprise is my DH's slightly early Xmas gift - the Rookie Experience at the Richard Petty Driving Experience at WDW Speedway. DH loves car racing (he's drag raced before) and has been commenting that he'd love to drive a NASCAR every Sunday when we watch the race on TV, and it's so hard not to tell him he's going to get the chance.

Re: Best Surprises The biggest surprises will probably be on our trip next year. My Mom and Dad will be celebrating their 20th anniversary, and I'm planning on telling Disney Dining at every restaurant we have an ADR at

Re: Best Surprises When we did our "Trip of a Lifetime" last November, I booked a Limo to pick us up at the house and take us to the airport. The kids were watching out the window for our "taxi" when it pulled up, and they thought it was for the neighbors (it was 5am!). DH said "We're rock stars!" and DS broke into song (from three doors down)"Whiskey Bottles and Brand New Cars..." It was hilarious! The driver said, "too early for whiskey, kid!" That was a great surprise...on the same trip, we booked CP for breakfast one morning and our little Piglet fan was in She didn't think you could see Piglet except in the parades. I'm keeping a big secret right now. My best friend thinks were staying at a super 8 motel in orlando when we go in January (I told her it was a great price!), but we're booked for AKL. I can't wait to see her face when we pull up...

Re: Best Surprises I made the switch from ASMovies to the AKL and didn't tell Calder - even the Tiffany driver kept mum. When we pulled up to the AKL sign, I nudged Calder and pointed. He exploded!! I would love to do something like that again -- so I'm planning a surprise birthday trip for him. Shhh.... Eileen
