All of Walt Disney World on DVD Yes! You can buy this dvd at laughingplacestore.com! We did!! I was browsing around the store when I came across it and was shocked at the sticker price. So I called WDW Merchandise to see if they had it available there. No. Then I looked again and saw that it is a fan created DVD set! I talked it over with my DH and he was really interested so we took a chance and ordered it. It arrived at the house rather quickly(along with the Country Bear Jamboree soundtrack i ordered!)and I was pleased to see that it was 18 dvds. They are videos that people have sent in of the rides, resorts, shows, and fireworks! I finally got to see Off Kilter! So far, I haven't heard any commentation from the people recording, so it's really clean. It's not for everybody, and it is pricey, but I have really enjoyed it! It's like being there! So if any of you think about ordering it, I'm giving it a thumbs up!!

Re: All of Walt Disney World on DVD When you say "It is not for everyone", do you mean price wise, or is there content little kids shouldn't see? Thanks, Michael

Re: All of Walt Disney World on DVD Hey Wendy! I saw that same one advertised somewhere else for about $10 cheaper. I'd love to have it but since I'm saving for my trip in Dec. I thought I'd better not. Anyways, you could always make your money back by making copies for your fellow Passporters. I'd pay ya for a copy of them. Lori

Re: All of Walt Disney World on DVD [ QUOTE ] When you say "It is not for everyone", do you mean price wise, or is there content little kids shouldn't see? Thanks, Michael [/ QUOTE ] I meant price-wise. So far, I haven't heard any comments that are unappropriate. [ QUOTE ] That's pretty cool. The rides...are you ON the ride? Store walkthroughs.....what are they like? [/ QUOTE ] You're actually ON the rides(Splash Mountain is really cool!!) The store walkthroughs, well I got a little dizzy. Some people film better, others are like watching what I myself tape--it seems to spin. There doesn't seem to be any real focus on the merchandise, but it does feel like you're actually walking through the stores.

Re: All of Walt Disney World on DVD Wow I would love to have this on for sure...it may take a while before I can order it though due to price! But I will. Thanks for the link...I went to the site through your post and did order two other DVD's...the Candlelight Procession one and the one on MVMCP with all the magic of Disney at Christmas. I can't wait to get them next week to watch them to dream and plan for our own trip to Disney this coming December...never been in December before.

Re: All of Walt Disney World on DVD I had to laugh when I read this! Here's my rather long related story: Me and my sister made our own "Everything at WDW" home video in 1996. Every second of every ride and show that it was possible to videotape, plus in some instances even walking through the lines. Plus a lot of the stores are on there too, along with monorail and ferryboat rides and lots of stuff from the hotels and Downtown Disney, including Pleasure Island. People must have thought we were crazy to be taping all the things we did. It's funny how many cast members hammed it up for the camera. After we got home, we then had to piece everything together in a logical sequence, as we just taped everything as we did it. We also added Disney (and non-Disney) music over parts that had no narration, like when we were filming details in the architecture, or the scenery at the hotels. When we were all done, it was 12 hours of stuff! And that was before Animal Kingdom opened! When we went back in 1999, we added Animal Kingdom and other new stuff, and that took another 6 hours. So we now have an 18-hour home video of WDW! And, yes, I still watch it periodically! You should have seen us planning before the trip. Once we decided to do this, we didn't want to forget to tape anything. So we got out a notebook and several guidebooks, where we got tons of ideas of things to look for to tape - all those little details that are true Disney genius that most people just rush past. For instance, I never knew that the mice from Cinderella can be found along the tops of the support columns as you walk through the castle. By the time we were finished with all our notes, you'd have thought we were filming a major motion picture! All this filming meant tons of extra batteries for the camcorder. Yikes! My sister bought several extras, along with a multi-charger. We had about 8 batteries, which were numbered so we could keep up with which ones needed to be charged next, etc. Somehow we cajoled my dad into going back to the room every day to swap out batteries on the charger. I still don't know how we pulled that off, as of course he thought we were crazy. Then we also made a viewer's guide to the whole set of tapes, so you could find what you were looking for a little easier. We printed the sheets on different colors, and even added Disney clip art to jazz it up. We laminated the front and back covers, and voila! Over my sister's objections and rolled eyes, it was named "A Jolly Holiday".
