| Older than 11 at princess party? Older than 11 at pirate cruise? I will try to explain my question. I have three children whom will be 14, 12, and 9 our next Disney trip. Our last trip was Dec. 2004 and my daughter and I went to the Disney Girl tea part at the Grand Floridian and loved it. She is older than the age limit, can we go still? I am willing to pay the amount required. My second question. My boys went on the Pirate cruise from the Grand Floridian and loved it. My older son will now be 12 can he go with my 9 year old on the cruise? Please help? |

| Re: Older than 11 at princess party? Older than 11 at pirate cruise? That's a tough question to answer. I know they set age limits for a reason, but I can understand you wanting them to still be able to do these things, especially if they like them so much. I would call Disney Dining and ask. Or better yet, you might want to call the Grand Floridian activities staff and ask them. I mean, they have to cut it off sometime or you'd have 30-somethings like me trying to get on the Pirate Cruise!! | Re: Older than 11 at princess party? Older than 11 at pirate cruise? I definitely would call and find out. My daughters have been to both of those things and I have never seen any older children at either event. |

| Re: Older than 11 at princess party? Older than 11 at pirate cruise? I called yesterday the cm said that I could not the the children had to be within the age range. I am so sad, but at least they got to experience it once. I think it is hard to be at that in between age too old for somethings and not old enough for others. It is also hard when you have a younger sibling that you can not go along with. |

| Re: Older than 11 at princess party? Older than 11 at pirate cruise? Here's a couple suggestions for new things to try with you "too old" kids. How about renting a pontoon boat at one of the MK resorts and going for a family ride? You could also try parasailing from the Contemporary. The girls could get a "my first manicure/pedicure" at the Grand Floridian Spa. |
