I had one too after 18 hours at the hospital. Mine took away 100% of the pain also. All that matters in the end is that you and the baby are healthy! Lori |

Labor is definately the most intensive thing I've ever gone through and you really can't explain what it's exactly like to another person until they go though it themselves. Thanks for the labor story!! I love reading stuff like that!         |

My labor and yours sound eerily similar, except I went into the room asking when I could have my epidural and thank goodness they only made me sweat it out overnight (on morphine) and then a couple of hours in the morning before the doctor ordered one! I liked Dave's perspective on this too - I'm allergic to iodine, so there was a frantic rush to find something else to clean the skin with in time to get the epidural administered. Thankfully, I slept (first time in 30+ hours) through everthing from that point until they woke me up to push! |
