Craigs list

Anyone use them to sell their unwanted items? A friend of mine told me about them & I've listed a couple of big things I had for sale (too big for Ebay) with some success.. even got a couple offers on my van.. The best part is it's local ( in every city) & FREE!!
you can check them out at Craigslist.org .. thought I'd share a way to earn a couple extra bucks..

Re: Craigs list

I just checked it out. Thanks for posting this. I'm looking for a futon for DS and can't find what we want in the stores, plus have a dog kennel to sell!

My question is, if I'm interested in something I found from the area I live in, I just email the seller at the address on the site and then wait for them to get back to me? If it's a deal, I arrange to pick it up and pay them? Sorry to be so dumb, never heard of this before!

Also, if I want to sell something, is there a fee?

Re: Craigs list

Nope, craigslist is not a commercial website, so there is no fee taken from a sale that is listed there.

forst off as Rob said, no fee.. your listing stays for 45 days..

& yep you're right on the buying.. you e-mail them & they usually send a phone number & you make arrangements to pick up & pay.. pretty easy..

Hint: check out the free area.. it's pretty cool! people simply leave their free stuff by the road at specific times & you come by & pick it up

I love free! I think we'll do that when our new furniture arrives. DH just wants to get rid of it and not have to haul it anywhere.

My Son uses Craigs list all the time. He has got job's, apartment's, roommamte's, and sold lot's of stuff.

I saw Craig on a tv show. What a guy. Millions in the bank and still lives a normal life.
