Favorite Holiday Decoration Stores I would love to know where all the great Holiday Decoration Stores are. Not the big chains, like Christmas Tree Shops, but the really cool ones you sometime run into. My Sister and I sometimes plan an overnight to shop for the holidays. Near me is The Canal Towne Emproium in Wurtsboro NY. Wonderful Dept. 56 display, great decorations. Where is yours? Susan

Re: Favorite Holiday Decoration Stores I guess Hobby Lobby and Michaels would be considered chain stores but they have some of the best stuff including things to make your own ornaments. I am big into Christmas. I even set up 3 trees in my livingroom. A seven foot, a five foot and a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Also you can go to your Dollar General store and find some neat things for a really low price.

Re: Favorite Holiday Decoration Stores My favorite will always be Kathe Wohlfahrt in Germany (but there's one in Stillwater, MN, too! ) I knew the Wohlfahrts before they were big business and I just love the German look of Christmas (and Easter). There's also the Christmas shop at Downtown Disney . There is one in Amish country south of me that DD's love to go to every October (7yo always wants to make a day trip to Amish country for her b-day)

Re: Favorite Holiday Decoration Stores Locally...I like Colonial Collectibles. Cute shop with great items. I also like Commonwealth Florist. Not only is it a florist, but a cute shop as well.
