| Some Christmas movies that we didn't have I found on sale at Walmart for $9.99. Also I bought my DH a Bulova dress watch at Macys for around $100 when it's normally $250. Also we bought him an early Christmas present (desk top computer) for $500 on sale.

| Polly Pocket jet plane for $5 out of pocket. It was at Target, with a coupon from their toy book. I also used the $5 coupon off the Mattel site and a Target gift card DH got in an employee rewards company at work. At the time I paid $9.99 out of my wallet. Later it went on sale so I took the reciept back for a price adjustment and got $5 back.

That Cracker Barrel is a dangerous place!!! I have purchased 9 new ornaments for my tree this year alone!!! Thank goodness for thier sale prices! My other great find was Leap Pad books at 70% OFF!!! at the Leap Frog site. Normally they sell for $13-$15/book....I paid $3.90-$4.50 each!!! I bought Alex all the ones he was missing!!! I have done a good portion of my shopping for "others" at Kohl's with 30% off coupons as well....that, combined with their sales, makes for a value packed shopping season!!! | |

| A gallon of Dr. Bronner's soap for $24 on eBay-----it came with $12 shipping, but even with that factored in it was much cheaper than buying it in the store. It's DH's favorite soap. ![]()

| Kohl's has been AMAZING this year. A lot of the stuff I bought was for myself, but still... I do have to share my Izod story...I belong to their Exclusive News Club...it's good in all four stores under the main umbrella (Izod, Geoffery Beane, Van Heusen and Bass)...I was at the outlet mall last week and had a special coupon from the club for Izod only...there was a winter vest I liked that was regularly $38.00. The store had it on sale for $21.99...then they applied my coupon...and I got the vest for UNDER $16.00!!! ![]()

| Best bargain was a gift for me... I replaced my cellphone. The new phone was on sale for $150 ($50 off) and I got $100 credit for upgrading with Verizon (get this every 2 years). There was also a $50 manufacturer's rebate on the phone. So, once the rebate check arrives the phone was free!

| On average this year, I think I spent about $12-- 17/person for Christmas. One of the best bargins was a huge soft, warm fuzzy blanket (60x80 inches) @ Kohl's (love that store too--- good thing it's not close by) the day after Thanksgiving for $7 or $7.50 (regularly $40 Wait, one more bargin... while @ WDW @ Bou-Tiki store, I bought 2 coconut drink cups for $8, put the 2 leis from Ohana's in w/ them and made a Travel Magazine cover for our neighbors of all of us in Mexico w/ features/stories creating a warm get away when you can't (afford) to get away. They loved it--- a full gift and only $8!
